5 Worst Types of Car Guys! 2022 Edition

Financing Through Affirm? Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. If you really can't pay, but want to play, then hit that Pay in 4. Instead some y'all CLOWNS taking 29.99% Interest on loans y'all can barely afford just to make some stupid Tik Tok that ain't even gonna get 1,000 views. How you gonna pay them bills, huh? Waiting to blow up? Make it big? Nah fool, you just the same, all builds these days are lame. Real Wheel Elitists, y'all ain't safe either. I see some y'all calling OEM wheels owners peasants, but girls be snatching some yo phones and seeing them Affirm Texts thanking you for your monthly payment. Is anyone in modern Car Culture in a big city likes this clout ridden Southeast even legit anymore? No wonder I ride instead. The MF's who join for Clout quite literally get Darwin Awarded out. Only the best of the best and the real OG's get to ride alive. Play stupid games and the Concrete is gonna be your grave. Also the phrase, "Terminally Car Brained" is a phrase I learned from Adam Something. Probably one of the funniest phrases I've heard and I like cars, but even I know they're not my entire life. Some y'all need to look for a cure before you die to the terminal disease, that is liking cars for CLOUT.

    Honorable mention: NPCs who will retort against ANY fast car with "yeah but my Tesla Plaid is faster to 60 and costs half as much". These are the tech bros who love cars as one-trick ipads on wheels. It doesn't matter if they're comparing to a handling focused car that's actually fast around a track, a car that can keep up the acceleration north of 120, a classic car, a car that's expensive because it's art on wheels, a car that doesn't need cooling after 3 launches. For these people any car is inferior than their Plaid and its 0-60. So basically a worst version of quarter mile enthusiasts.

  • @BladedAngel

    @BladedAngel

    2 жыл бұрын

    I don't know how much of the Yugo would remain in order to fit it lol. 100% the Chassis would snap. By the time you start stretchign and reinforcing it, you'd probably have a "W16 Kit Car" instead of a Yugo, since it deviated too far to be a Yugo at that point (Modifying an OEM Platform AKA Trans/engine/chassis still counts as making that model fast, but once you start changing engines, trans, AND Chassis, it's a different/custom car at that point. Lots of Countries will legally require you to title it as a Kit Car too, since once the Frame is modified, it no longer passes it's original Crash Safety Test.) And once the VIN changes, it's a different car. So the Yugo W16 Dream may never happen. ..but a Yugo V12 Dream still can😂 If an Aventador V12 fits in a Miata, we can get one in the Yugo too!

    I appreciate that you used the image of a Dutch highway at 9:58, one of the best countries for drivers because of their great infrastructure. There's this one video called "The Best Country in the World for Drivers" by Not Just Bikes, which goes much deeper into this. Long story short, their public transport is amazing, and it's faster to go somewhere in your town by bike or just walking rather than taking a car. Only people who actually drive there are the ones who want to and the ones who NEED to.

    That is true, now that I drive my own car for pleasure (Saab 900 NG cabriolet) I do enjoy the buttery smooth asphalt of my country. While true, everyone pays quite a hefty bill in order to use it (taxes, road taxes, and did I mention taxes?). All in all it enables a country to exist where you can have both your functional public transportation and great road infrastructure. mY eNGiNE iS aN LT aCKSHUALLY. lol just messing with ya But yeah no, if the Corvette never existed, then the LS would've never been made, which means that Civic would've never had an LS to swap into it... so in a way, by calling my Corvette Stupid, they're failing to realize it's existence still contributed to their build. It's like a parent feeding and watching their son become better than them, but the Son becomes an unappreciative dick who hates their Father. Don't get me wrong, that LS Swapped Civic is still faster than me, it's just I feel no shame in it... I ride a 20HP Royal Enfield these days anyway. I stopped caring about speed bout a year ago. I realized how stupid and boring it was when I made that video, "I envy people who drive slow vehicles fast and not fast vehicles slow" Sitting in traffic in a Z06 is like watching a Cheetah in a Cage. It's worthless. technically my Enfield can gap the fuck outta that Civic. I can just filter through traffic meanwhile the Civic will still have to wait. So speed and convenience is all relative to the situation. Horsepower truly is meaningless, it's about happiness.

Seriously, I haven’t laugh that hard for a while; the part of the Engine swap freaks was just straight up HILARIOUS 🤣 But seriously, I can’t believe there are people who would use this argument on a debate on which car is better! To me when you Engine swap, you are creating a different car, because it has a different engine that doesn’t belong to the brand, for example if you decided to swapped an EK9 Civic B16B engine with a 4G63T from an EVO, you are creating a new car; sure the bodywork is still from Honda, but the engine is from Mitsubishi, for me that’s a total different car, because the engine acts differently from what you expect from a Honda. What do I expect from a Honda: A fun high-revving car that you can thrash around corners, not some hardcore road going rally car. Sorry for my little rambling Bladed, but anyways, thanks for making my day!

If it's for a reason that is just creating or doing something you yourself want to have in the car for yourself then that's in my opinion fine by all means. Bragging though? Nah that's the point where it's just petty and lame if it's just for personal fun and that then go ahead.

    Yea, the engine swap one - the claimants haven't even had the "pleasure" of matching everything, from adapter plates to custom drive shafts and mounting systems, and hammering the engine compartment to make room so it fits. And most of their swap BS is so big that they may as well just slap a saddle onto the engine/transmission because that's what the car body's gonna be once that swap is done! Of course, then they'd need the skills to keep the rubber on the wheels (instead of turning into magic smoke & shrapnel) when they tromped on the gas pedal. So divorced from reality I have to "whatever" them.

But I got beat by a Ford Taurus sho the other night and didn’t mind. Because speed isn’t everything. Yeah it’s nice to have, but it’s the experience as a whole.

    7:09 I had this debate. Was about some guy trying to swap an Si engine with a Type-R engine like a discount type r, just get the full car lol. There's far more to a car than just it's engine and HP, it's missing suspensions, wheels, brakes, transmission, ect. It'd cost more trying to swap everything. Swapping engines is fine, just don't be something you're not (like upbadging) or shit on stock.

    Thanks for the public transport and bike stuff. Needed to be said. Also, if you really like the feeling of going fast (as most car guys do), try riding a bike instead of a car through a congested city. You can actually get a sense of speed that way. It sometimes is just the better option.

    I wonder if bladed is going to hate me for my sleeper e36 325i with a 3.0L gt35r build. I’m not against people that cycle, but I am against the cyclists that take up a full lane. I actually bike a lot when I live in cities that have a good setups for it but serious cyclists are douchebags that seem to be trying to get hit.

    I meet way more bad drivers than bad cyclists. Sure it sucks being stuck behind a slow cyclist, but it's not worth killing them or putting their life in danger for a few seconds of convenience. We only remember cyclists being "Stupid" simply because we see so few, so every instance stands out. We see so many bad drivers, we forget how much they suck, but I keep count...each day, at least 9 Altimas cut me off. Maybe once a month, I get stuck behind cyclists. Compared to me dying almost daily from BIG ALTIMA ENERGY🤣

    Who remembered that Renault Twingo with a literal jet engine swap? To be fair, if someone did try to argue that Twingo is the best car, I'd probably concede. But then the exception always proves the rule right? So you're still right. BTW I'm fully aware that a good 99% of people reading this will be too young to remember the jet powered Twingo, and will frantically Google it now (I'm jealous of the feeling you're about to get), but while you're googling it - they also made a Renault Espace with an F2 engine in it which is pretty much as epic as the Twingo! Yes, a 80's Renault Espace with an F1 engine. I'm not joking.

    I think anyone who's played Gran Turismo 2 remembers the Espace F1 fondly. There's also a company who made a few widebody V8-powered Twingos a while back. Those things are nuts!
