The way this has already depreciated, at least here in the EU, it’s gonna be a hell of a deal in about 2 years. Also over here we have big taxes on big engines so I see this car as a win. S class tech with very low taxes

I quite like that 2 litre turbo in this car, but i'd prefer to have it in a CLA45s. SL43? I think it should have a V6 or I6.

AMG SL 43 - the Lexus LC500 convertible weighs too much making me not trust actual occupant protection during a rollover crash. Also per Motortrend testing the AMG SL 43 is only 1/10 a second slower than the prior generation SL550 with a twin turbo V8 from 0-60mph and I rarely drive on the interstates as I usually fly for long distance trips.

I’d have to go Lexus LC500 convertible for this money. NA V8 and Lexus build quality (more reliable, less plastic).

I wonder how much of their value will they lose in the US in 3-4 years? I believe that maybe that price it would be more reasonable. While in isolation its a fantastic car, its just far less compelling of a proposition compared to the obvious alternatives like the 911, LC 500 and even bigger GT Style cars like the 8 series or more pragmatic options like the Jag F type R.

Beautiful car wrong engine and too wide for the UK. Wait for the AMG V8 but still too wide.

This is a fantastic car by Mercedes, but I feel like it's overpriced by about $20,000.

In other words its crap folks

Not a good Car. Mandy Elektrik and gear Problems. If you will have a bad day buy this car. I never buy an SL again.
