Ryan Waczek // Lion Bold how do you break into song writing when you have zero connections and also if you don’t want to be an artist... getting a publishing deal is one way but if no-one is accepting unsolicited material then what is the path?

@@PEPPERMINTBADDIE Steve talks a lot about this in the second half of the video actually, so definitely put into practice the suggestions he lays out for you. In a nutshell, you shouldn't be trying to make connections with people above you, it's not worth the time and you'll just get rejected. If you want to become a songwriter, you need to connect with other up and coming artists who are at the same level as you and rise together. It has always been this way in the music industry. Invest in your peers and their success will become your success.
