It's so sad because in my opinion Slaanesh is the most interesting chaos god, and I get that Emperor's Children and sound blasting may not be the people's favorite, but I'd love at least more slaneesh iconography from GW to work with. I have been making my own slaanesh legion kitbashing with demonettes and more recently hedonites, but come on, this should be vanilla, and not kitbashing.

The heavy bolter conversion is super clever and very elegant. I'm not even an Emperor's Children guy but I love it!

So I know you added that speaker on the back pack as a decoration, but it could definitely work as a doom siren for noise champions

Definitely! That step really isn't necessary for every guy in your squad, just your unit leaders or characters.

That's the beauty of Alpha Legion, everything is an Alpha Legion conversion.

I would love to see some Word Bearers conversions. Or maybe some nice ideas for regular Possessed, since the old Models for them are kind of horrendously bad.

Actually I made some Possessed out of the New CSM kit and the Old Possessed kit, mixing them looks quite good!

Possessed can look badass if you just give them the new CSM helmets and then place them on some rubble to make their short height hardly noticeable.

The first 5 seconds of this vid convinced me to watch the rest regardless of the quality. I've never heard a more accurate summary of the emp. children

Personally, I'd love to see a conversion video for Nurgle aligned Chaos Marines which AREN'T Death Guard and don't use too many Death Guard pieces.

Nice call on having the winged pad on the side where his face is less corrupted looking. It was a hard choice but I think having the Raptors head wouldve been the better choice. As you said the vents, giving off the look of more speakers. Really great guide as always.

@@yurigagarine6998 not an easy one to explain, but some words in English can have various meanings depending on the context of the sentence!! Urban dictionary can be quite useful to understand slang, double meanings and innuendos!!

I would love to see either an Alpha Legion conversion or a Night Lords video.

That was a really good guide, only thing I would add is maybe just green stuff cables and pipes for both the sonic cannon and the power pack. Excellent work!

My Sonic blasters are made from Boltguns with the Nozzle replaced with the front part of Tau Pulse rifle, the round thingy looks like a sonic thingy. Than i removed the ammo part and replaced it with Excesiv tubes from greenstuff going around to the back pack.

That's a beautiful conversion and paint job. There is a picture of Ana Emperor's Children marine with two blades. The character has this look of euphoria on his face that is unnerving. Your model has a similar feel.

So you have a couple of different ways of reducing the price. First, don't do all 5 conversions on every guy in your squad. Spread them out a bit and the cost will be a lot less. Secondly, buy the bits you need from bitz re-sellers or swap them with friends. You can pick up 5 Raptor heads for £2 on eBay and the shoulders for not much more, so there's really no point buying a full kit of them.

There is other options out there too in 3rd party bits here and there, if you dont want to stick to just GW parts as well. A Shapeways store called Pop Goes the Monkey has a sizable amount of sonic blasters and blastmasters, and Kromlech's Bedlam Fraternity parts are basically a full set of five noise marines if you buy one set of bits

So happy to see this video after looking at the forge world noise Marines this was my exact idea I was like you know if you take the reaper autocannon from blacklord terminators / chaos terminators and then just take a little green stuff and make a little shield shape piece with some grooves in it that looks like the grill of a car you have a Sonic blaster LOL really nice to see it put into practice though so I know it's worth pulling the trigger going forward I'm using havocs for my noise Marines.

Nice. Some cool iseas I didn't think of in my own Noise Marine force. My last Noise Marine project is a squad of Black Metal Space Wolves. I had some parts left over....

If you use the Raptor helmet, consider adding a Top-knot from a Chaos Space Marine or Ork sprue.

Word Bearers and Night Lords! I would love to see what you do with those two Legions

As an Emperor's children player...I'm jealous of that's models awesomeness...I was lazy...I needed 2 squads of 10, and 4 squads of 5 in my army...so I just mixed Phobos prmaris marines and the new chaos marines models up..added Mohawks (painted in fluro colours)...painted their armour purple and gold...made little additions to bolters and various heavy weapons...I called them ' The Weapon Lords' which represents them being so excessivly perfect in modifying and using their weapons ....that they 'count as' sonic blasters, Blastmasters ...and their Champions got the coolest backpacks 'count as' having Doom sirens ....all are armed with combi plasmas too....with 4 squad champions having unique modified combat weapons...that count as power axes....

I was trying to figure out good ways to make some noise marines without the sheer cancer that is the current GW options, and never considered something as simple as voxcasters.I have a bunch of old ones to tear apart...thanks for this, mate!

I’ve built 30 of these with long term bits from old and new armies, i’ve spent about £80 in building these guys and they work wonders :)

Love you videos, i mean like im not going to do this conversion but it does give me ideas :D Also having a 3d resin printer and basic 3d modelling skills helps ^-^

You know, I think I will use the Sanguinary Guard shoulders for my Custom Space Marines. Certainly will fit their aesthetic!

Are there any larger speaker sources or amps you know of? I'm trying to convert a group of chaos bikers, and one achilles Ridgerunner to being vehicle themed noise marines. The classic guitar marine straddling the hood, but I need to strap A TON of speakers to all the vehicles, including one amp for the leader to have his foot on, and I just can't think of a good source.

Built a 5 man squad of these as a gift for my brother as he plays emperors children.

What is different about that heavy bolter compared to the Mark 3 kit? Or is that the Mark 3 bolter and you're just saying that the Mark 4 kit actually is more useful? Because I can't see a difference between the two bolters

Adding in Blood Angels or Custodes bits for Emperor's Children is really clever. I wouldn't have thought of that. In order to make that connection one is required to reinterpret their 40k version of their 30k counterparts which now I feel GW has corrupted too far. Now that's creative courage.

Thanks! A big part of these conversions is looking at the components in isolation and not seeing them as part of something bigger. It allows you to see what else it could be used for.

I still have unused custodes kits from the Prospero boxed set so now I'm going to see how far I can push your idea by mixing and matching primaris kits. They seem quite compatible. The scale difference is much smaller than I thought. The advantage is that this creates highly individualistic marines which serves the Emperor's Children just fine.

I think 'A Serbian Film' would be more suited to Emperors Children instead of 50 Shades

Maybe you could use the missile launcher as the base for a blastmaster conversion.
