there was a purity seal on the weapon. Look at the bit where they show it off on the anvil. There is a very large purity seal right on the side. Knowing that they correctly applied a purity seal allows for one to assume offerings and operation rites were performed off camera in correct fashion. machina gloriam Dei!!!!

Nope he is not. Space Marine are like 7'11 or 7'10 They are about 40 cm larger than the mountain.

@@uUuWolf16uUu I've looked around the internet, and it's really hard to get a consistent answer. Some sources say 6'11 in armour, up to 9 feet tall in their armour. However tall they are, we can assume the armour adds several inches at least.

now my friend the Ordo Hereticus here, What do you think the aquila is ? Even within the lore of Warhammer the Palatine Aquila is refered to as the double headed eagle of the emperor. Nah but in all seriousness, most of them propably never read the books, played the games or build models of them, its just fair for them to use the translations of latin words.

Even if it would have been, the german Reichsadler was a derivitive from the roman one. As the the 3. Reich understood itself as the successor of the Heiliges Römisches Reiches deutscher Nationen (the holy roman empire of german nation). I was firstly officially indtoduced by Baberossa who was imperator of the Gergman-Roman empire 1155.

Aquilas are different form eagles. They have some measurement difference , and the most important thing is that aquilas are superior hunters. Also all the symbols with aquilas come from the Roman Empire. Even Romania kept the symbol.

Imperial Eagle?! I DIDN'T HEAR IMPERIAL AQUILA! Not a single Mechanicus Incantation was spoken, and this weapon wasn't blessed by the Omnissiah. I smell either Heresy, or HERESY!

For accuracy's sake, it predates The Emperor's revealing his presence to mankind and his Unification War campaign. As someone else mentioned, The Emperor has been around for a while. It's been hinted by GW that he was present at various points in history as Jesus Christ and other messianic figures.

And even if he wasn't Jesus Christ (or, alternatively, assumed the role of the Abrahamic God and inspired/collaborated with the Abrahamic prophets, who may well have been psykers to some degree), his conversation with the priest of the Last Church on Terra in one of the Horus Heresy novels has him clearly admit that he was around in Europe during the Crusades.

It's even made to look like a chainsword from my first founding brothers!

Forge World Baltimore worked wonders on this one. They are truly blessed by the Omnissiah.

Amazing piece of work. The funny thing about the chainsword they've made though is it's probably about the size of a Space Marines combat knife! A true scale chainsword would be as tall as a man!

DeadKavaiol exactly! It's not that AOT is bad or something, the weapon just isn't any interesting to see in real live... Just like with the DBZ sword. I like the anime (grown up with it lol) but it is basically a sharpened metal bar... Not really cool looking irl.

You guys..... Yes, the sword blade by itself isn't interesting. It's a papercutter, whatever. But if they were to do it they'd obviously not just do the sword. They'd do the real deal, a sword that can remove it's blade and replace it with another from it's holster. Therefore the grip of the sword and the mechanics of how it attaches securely to a sword is where the real challenge is at. The holster in itself will be a challenge as it might end up being way too freaking heavy even when empty. So they'd need to design a belt or shoulder support for it also like in the show. That's leather work that they have opportunity to carve some awesome art into such as the emblem of the recon corps. And if they're doing that they've got to include how the sword is connected via a cable to the belt too. As when they remove the blade, the hilt of the sword rests on the belt. Also, in case you've forgotten, this is a duel wield sword. Sure they might do just one side, but in terms of weight the balance might work out better if there's 2x sword, 2x holsters. One for each side. It's way more interesting potentially than you think. And an insane amount of work. Look beyond the bland blade. Frankly, the reason they've ignored our Attack On Titan requests I think is because they know all this. It isn't a simple task as you think, and they're not up for it, it's not possible. Hence i've long since stopped asking for it. Though I wait for the day they prove me wrong. Because it'll be one of the best things they've ever made on this show.

As a 40k Aficionado i can proudly say that this has my seal of approval! great job!

This is a truly awesome build. I especially like the eagle heads that you could use to stab with. A weapon worthy of any Astartes
