I think you'll be fine as long as you give youself enough time to work on the SOP/LOR/resume.

Hey Sachin, I'm currently doing an online course of robotics in coursera but I don't think that I would be able to complete all the six modules in that course before the deadline. So , Is it okay to add the course in my resume ? or I shouldn't ?

Probably not in your resume but in your SOP, you could discuss it as ongoing.

I had this question too, and its good if you have it but not necessarily needed condition is you should have learned something and a project on the topic would be cherry on top remember they won't ask you to prove it and show certificate. To be safe: do a little extra on the topic it could be project or just a little bit of research and reading from your own

Yeah if you want to put the course on your resume, you need the certificate.

Is gap year considered for fall 22, considering the pandemic (esp second wave)? I am done with my Gre and IELTS. As test centres were closed and my college academic calendar changed frequently with the second wave...exams went on till August, I couldn't apply for fall21 or spring 22. Will there be a preference for 22 passed-outs over 21s? do I have to explain the reason for the gap in my SoP?

If you have an otherwise good profile, then I think it's okay if you apply for Fall 22. In case you don't get the unis you want this intake, you can always try again in Fall 23.

Can someone please tell which months come under fall 2022 and spring 2022? And till when are admissions open for both

Might vary across countries and unis, but Fall 22 means classes start in Sept 2022. Deadlines will be Dec 2021 - Feb 2022. Spring 22 means classes start in Jan 2022, and deadlines will be July-Sept 2021.

Hey Sachin, great video! I recently took the GRE and got 164 in quants and 158 in verbal. 322 total. Do you think its good enough to get into top 20 universities in the US given other parts of the profile is decent enough or should I retake it before sending in the marks. I want to pursue MS in CS. For MS in CS, it might be about average or below average for the top 20. CS is extremely competitive!

For most programs at those unis, yes. For competitive programs like CS, Data science, analytics, probably not.

I'm currently in the 7th sem ( ECE ). Now my GPA is 6.61 . I hope I can increase it to at least 7.5 in the coming semesters. If I'm applying to a university for fall 2022 do I need to submit my current GPA?

When you apply, you submit your GPA upto and including 6th sem. When you accept your offer, you have to submit your final bachelor's GPA before you enroll.
