5 Ways to avoid Forever Chemicals PFAS, PFOS, PFOA & MILLIONS More!

PFAS (forever chemicals) are everywhere, literally. Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances like PFOS, PFOA & PFNA are increasingly being linked to many serious medical & mental conditions. Here is the info you need about what they are, where they come from (you won't believe this part), and what you can do to minimize your exposure to these worrisome forever chemicals. Dupont & 3M (both owned by Vanguard Group) have known the dangers of these chemicals for decades (see article below). You CANNOT avoid these chemicals, but you can minimize your exposure..

He's not the only one getting the word out. This is just the first time you've heard of it. Google PFAS and you'll find many many articles and presentations starting about 10 years ago. It just didn't hit the mass media market until recently. Environmentalists have been beating the drum about ALL toxins for decades! But thanks Dr. Berry, we need as many people in the public eye to shout this from the rooftops.

I worked at a military base for 25 years...in 2015 we were found to have the highest amount of PFAS/PFOS that had been found. And every. single. week....we have more people both military and civilian coming out with rare cancers and diseases. Ours came from the AFFF that our firefighters used. And then when I did some research, I found that there were wells that we drank from that were ruptured. All that AFFF that went into the ground, went into our drinking wells. And they knew. So many good people have died now and many more suffering. thank you for bringing this to the forefront Dr. Berry.

When I was in college, my summer job was working for a well-known cosmetic company. After working summers, I realized what kind of stuff went into makeup. I've never worn very much makeup and people routinely think I'm 10 to 15 years younger than I actually am. I chalk it up to not putting chemicals on my face for 50 years. I've tried to tell people over the years chemicals that are put into makeup. My brother was a groundskeeper for golf courses for many years. He he was exposed to Roundup and other toxic chemicals during those multiple years. As a result, my brother developed bladder cancer from the time he was diagnosed to his death was 7 months. Keep preaching about these chemicals.

The EPA banned CFCs decades ago, and PFAS were the substitute. Few labs are set up to test for them at all today, and those few have had a low number of customers. I'm not trying to defend the EPA too much; they are late. It's difficult to fathom the amount of reports, studies, etc. they had to validate, though. Also, considering that they're affecting national law and Vanguard's budget, they had to roll out a manageable roadmap. The 2024 deadline for testing to be in place was established in 2021, and still, people are scrambling frantically to figure out the state laws and logistics of it all. And testing is only the beginning. They've got anywhere from thousands to millions of chemicals to gather data on, solidly prove which ones are most dangerous, etc. before they can ban a single one. We'll be lucky, the way large government and science work, if the first PFAS ban comes out before 2040.

The cheapest overall option for best filtration is distillation. Next would be reverse osmosis followed by activated carbon filtration. All will help in the regard of forever chemicals. The trace minerals are troublesome though because distillation is so good at removing contaminants that it does remove them too lol. I'm not entirely sure how to properly remedy the trace minerals. I was doing carbon filtration using the best filters I could find but will be moving to distilled soon for various reasons.

Be careful with Berkey Fluoride filters. Seven months ago, Water Filter Guru posted a video "I tested a Berkey...and can't believe what I found" where he tested the filters. While Berkey was great with most everything else, it turned out there was more aluminum in the filtered water than there was in the unfiltered. WFG theorizes Berkey uses aluminum to clear fluoride out of the water, some of that aluminum ends up in the filtered water

Some wells and springs that have been tested regularly at the source are allowed to market that water as "Natural Water". I use this in glass bottles. Some companies still use glass bottlesl (not plastic). Most bottled water sold in the U.S. is just tap water from the source; even if filtered these forever chemicals may not get filtered out and they are mostly sold in plastic bottles. Home filtration is highly recommended as well.

If anyone is looking for a good RO system, look for one that has ORP media. ORP stands for Oxidation Reduction Potential. They are small balls that when water passes over them, increase the alkalinity of the water and replace Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium and other good things found in old natural mineral waters. The taste is fantastic and somehow I feel this water is absorbed better into my body. Wait for an Amazon Prime day and go for it!

I've only been carnivore since January and because of you and your family I have really been doing a lot of research. Sadly just before watching your video on PFAS I saw a news broadcast on it. Seems like even eating carnivore you have to be careful. That Irish grass feed butter is wrapped in paper containing PFAS, dark chocolate with heavy metals, fish high in mercury. Thankfully our family is a sixth generation farm family. I have been discussing with my son, who now runs the operation, about adding a milk cow and some hogs since we already have cattle and goats and chickens, ducks and turkeys. I want to start milking the goats for fresh butter and cheese. We have plenty of hunting land with deer, squirrels and rabbits and the Duck River runs through our property for fishing. I have always had a garden but this year I will be planting everything I can. I'm carnivore and have gotten my family on more of a ketovor diet. It's a scary world we live in now. Thanks to you and more like you people are finally waking up to the nightmare our country has created. Thank you Dr. Berry for this video. They're killing us slowly 😢😮 All due to greed & profit. I applaud your bravery to put out this video. Other KZreadrs, like Bobby from FlavCity have been warning about these "forever chemicals" for a while now. The more we know, the better so THANK YOU DR. BERRY. MEAT ON! HEAL ON! 🍖 🥓 🥩 🍳 🧈

Unfortunately they're not killing you slowly. They want you to live long and be very ill and dependent.

Guilty until proven innocent is what has to be applied to newly formed chemicals to protect public health.

I think 99.9% of the issues from corporations stem from greed/profits/psychopaths/sociopaths/rich people who just don't care what happens since they wont be around to see it. "Why should I care how much pollution my profitable corporation makes? It's not going to affect me."

Dr. Berry, THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR CURRENT INFO!! I have been researching all water filters and so far I lean towards RO! With pitchers it sounds like changing the filters often really adds up!! Searched your videos and been watching for you to address this!! God bless you and your precious family!! ❤🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏

I live in a part of West Virginia known as "the chemical valley"... it's literally used to name local businesses- hardware stores, carpet cleaners, etc. A river valley from Southern WV all the way to Ohio with hundreds of chemical plants of every variety. Where there aren't chemical companies there are coal mines, quarries, or natural gas operations. My family refuses to move. I feel kind of doomed
