I feel the same way. I always get so angry at the fact that the man who found her refused her pleas to be untied and left her that way! He did get help, but it was too late by then...I'll always wonder if she could have been saved if someone else had found her.

Be sure to equip yourself with eye drops so that you can stare longer just to make the cops a little less comfortable attempting to question you and question in themselves if you're even fit for questioning. Mind games with the police is often best when the person being questioned is doing nothing but staring the cop straight in the face. Creep factor? Maxed out.

kryer981 Yeah. "Lori Ruff" herself was a questionable individual. I've seen the Ruff's case from another mystery case. If I remember correctly, Lori herself was becoming unbearable to her husband and daughter, and he had no choice but to divorce her after several attempts of trying to communicate with her about why she's being a certain way, especially around their daughter

Well they never found the body and the only "evidence" is a forced confession after 20 hours of constant questioning. God after that amount of time I'd straight-up make up a story to shut them up. Just because he "admitted" to killing her it doesn't prove that he actually did kill her. For all we know, she could've been kidnapped and this guy has a guilt complex over his sister's disappearance. I mean I can't imagine someone other than a psychopath or a sociopath kidnapping and murdering a random girl, but I can't imagine someone like that confessing just for the benefit of another person. How many years could you get for a robbery? Did he not really have anything to lose or something?

"Just days before the murder, John Smith was released from prison." How many murder videos have this phrase?!!! In New York City a man was just arrested for shooting a police officer in the face. He had been arrested while carrying a gun and over 100 rounds of ammunition and the judge gave him youthful offender status. So he released him on bail he was then re-arrested for pointing a loaded gun at his father. He was released from jail again while awaiting trial. On the day he was supposed to go to trial he decided to go and shoot an officer in the face. I say put him in jail lock him up and leave him there for the rest of his life. I'm talking about the judge!

There are no 'statutes of limitations' for murder in the USA. So, that's not the reason why he wasn't charged. I think that it's more likely that they didn't charge him because they couldn't find her body. Kinda hard to prove murder beyond a reasonable doubt without a body!

I can't help feeling there is more to number 2. Martha's brother was 12 years old. What 12 year old keeps a secret for 20 years and doesn't tell a soul? Not only that but surely the police checked the area they were playing in and saw recently disturbed burial sight? And he didn't go to prison? All very weird! Didn't the parents notice his behaviour was different?.. Edit : brother was 14 but the same still applies

Chelsea Bruck was my friend. You have the story wrong. That suspect in the photo was never publicly identified, so that's misleading. Chelsea's body was found April 2015, 6 MONTHS after her disappearance. She was found at a development site for a new home. The construction workers digging had their machinery get stuck. They realized it was a body, and it was later identified as Chelsea. Daniel was suspected for a while though we all publicly looked for the suspicious man in the photo, and they waited until they had compiled enough evidence to close the case. They found remnants of her clothing and such in a bag of his. We learned that she was walking andvDaniel likely picked her up. We set up a headquarters and searched for months. They didn't even find remnants of her costume for months. I knew Daniel Clay as well. Fredo was always a scumbag. He has another trial for rape. His girlfriend at the time was never arrested. She didn't know. Details were released. Disgusting details of rape and murder. He buried her body in an area which at the time was only accessible with an ATV of some sort as it's rural. It's a small town, we all knew each other. But get your facts straight, a simple google search for "Chelsea Bruck" brings up the timeline. How you managed such misinformation is ridiculous and insulting. Your videos lose credit this way. How are we to believe anything else you post if you couldn't google.

I'm gonna guess that there was more to it then that I don't think she would have just changed her identity cuz she ran away from home.... But she might have changed her identity after she ran away cuz someone was treating her wrong in her home so she left changing her identity so whoever was hurting her would not come to bring her home and do it again

"after 20 hours of questioning" I always wondered how people succumb to this? If it were me after about four hours I would just lie with my head on the table and go to sleep, or lie on the floor. They cant torture you or scream in your ears. I would just say " not answering any more im going to sleep". They touch me, or do anything and its an instant payday.

Naw, its just I know my strengths, and succumbing to pressure isn't one of them, nor is being scared of police. Besides I know my rights in the US, if you clam up or ask for a lawyer they'll stop, only reason people are held that long being questioned is because they are ignorant of their rights, or allow themselves to be because they feel guilty. Just because you are weak and you would cry and pee your pants doesn't mean there are not strong men like myself and strong women who wouldn't budge under questioning, I'm sure this comment board has quite a few here reading this as well. I have found most people insult other people like you did with specifics like " cry" and " pee you pants" is because they know that's what they themselves would do in that situation, so they project their inadequacies onto other people to try and bring them to their level so they feel better about themselves being weak. I suggest you get some self confidence and talk to your friends on how to improve yourself as a person, instead of trying to make yourself feel better by insulting strangers on the internet.

This happened in my hometown. He confessed to try to get his wife a lighter sentence for driving the getaway car after getting caught robbing our local bank. He confessed and brought the cops to where he buried her. The murderer and Keri had been friends. Small town. She'd gone to the store and he cruised past her and wanted to know if she wanted to go hang out for a bit. It's thought he made advances she turned down and he then raped and killed her. Her family is heartbroken still

Mike L But it wasn't murder, it was manslaughter, which DOES have a statute of limitations.

How can there be a statue of limitations for murder? That's madness.

There isn’t a statute of limitations on on 1st degree murder. But in this case they would never have been able to prove premeditation, because there wasn’t any. And in most cases they can only charge a person with 1st degree murder if the murder was committed while the suspect was committing another crime, such as rape, kidnapping, etc.

Well, that's just plain creepy. Karrie Lynn looks extremely similar to me at that age. It deeply bothers me. How vulnerable young ladies are. I guess I am lucky to have had parents who made me baby sit my brothers all the time. However, I did take secretarial college classes at 17, and my boyfriend managed to get into my car, planning to surprise me with"singing in the rain". I was so flummoxed that I was muttering under my breath how I hated typing...so he made a good decision not to jump up.

Wait a minute. Manslaughter has a statute of limitations, but they could come after you 20yrs for an unpaid traffic ticket because tickets have no statute of limitations. Unbelievable.
