I do believe I have met the one. I even asked God for multiple signs about this, and God showed me every single one of those signs confirming that he's the one. We are currently in a separation right now, but I'm patient and trust God for restoration and reconciliation. Please keep me in your prayers. 🧡 Edit: WE HAVE RECONCILED! Keep faith in God, he will do what he promised he'd do. Build your relationship with him so that you can ask him questions and he can answer you in your way. Never give up on your lover, trust me, you may not think so but the restoration is absolutely worth it! (We reconciled after 8 months if anyone wants to know).

I’m getting married to the love of my life this weekend and we’ve definitely walked through all 5 of these phases. Even though it was tough, each of these things brought us closer to Christ, forced us to grow (personally and together as a unit)and made us become intentional with how we communicated with one another. I asked God if the boy I was with was the one, as a response, God started to allow me to see again because I was so blinded by love that I couldn’t see what was wrong. I will never thank him enough 🙏🏾❤️ Now, I’m trying to get better at going to him first whatever the situation!

Not necessarily. Those aspects are a matter of tests of faith. It’s not so much the fact that friction is necessary. In many relationships today there’s people that believe that and decide to create problems where there are not real issues. They’re creating friction thinking that it adds zest to their relationship smh. Very foolish.

This is who you speak of in your statement because a mature Christian, on meat vs milk, looks at every relationship as God ordained and maintained and ‘drama’ would not be a part of what they are in. A babe in Christ = a seed… it must go in the ground and die before maturity is a consideration. A mature Christian= a Psalm 1:3 tree. These produce FRUIT. And just like Jesus, there is a wildernesses experience that will introduce itself. Then and only then will fruit come forth. In the life of s Christian, before you see fruit you will experience friction and frustration. God bless 🥰

Let me rephrase it to a truthful statement. WHEN there is NO fruit, there is frustration. Matthew 21:19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.

Im here at 1:30 am two days after my separation with the person i thought to be the one. I came across this video and beyond my confusion, pain and impatience I realized that i need Him to strengthen me to be able to understand why this is happening. I surrendered everything to the Lord now.

Im in the same boat, I lost someone that I felt god sent to me and I too am confused & asking alot of questions why our break up happened. I try not to idolize her above Father God & Lord Jesus but its hard when you find happiness in someone so much. But I too has surrendered my life to him & I have faith that God's plan will unfold for me to either meet someone new or reunite us back together.

Your statement is loaded and not so easily explained. 1st, how did you sin against them? Both people are going to make mistakes and if one person is unforgiving, that doesn't bode well for the future. However, if your sin against that person was infidelity, I don't blame them for breaking up with you. Most people have a pattern of behavior and if someone will be unfaithful once, they will usually do it again. Particularly if the two people aren't married, the person who was cheated on should think long and hard before they marry this person. 2nd, forgiveness doesn't always mean that two people should stay in the relationship. Sometimes it becomes glaringly obvious that one or both of you aren't mature enough for a romantic relationship. 3rd, how many times has this happened? I say this because I have known people who talked like you and left out pertinent information that makes it clear why the other party left. Just saying. For future reference, whatever this sin was, get to the root of why you committed it and make an extreme effort to guard against this behavior so that you don't hurt the next person. Yes, our partners should be forgiving and keep no account of wrongs. However, we should not take advantage of this by sinning against them and throwing scripture at them when they are justifiably hurt.

@ymarrero23 I never cheated or hit her. I got drunk bc of depression and loneliness following my father's death and my mother's subsequent constant hospitalization. I said some dumb things and she dumped me in the heat of the moment. I've apologized and begged forgiveness but now she's blocked me and refuses to come back

God is so good you guys. We are so lucky to have the lives and love we have. Don't ever be ashamed of who you are or where you come from. We all come from God. I wish everyone who reads this nothing but light, love, joy and blessings!

when it comes to longing for clarity it is important to realize that god will not choose who you should marry for you and that there isn't such thing as "the one" because there are so many great people out there and really the best you can do is ask not for clarity but for approval from god

I kept on praying to God about this. And today before I've read the bible, I have prayed again about it and then minutes after I've seen this and this adds up to the current situation which is amazing..

Thank you. I am on this page and of belief that doubt and examining self are healthy. Wholeheartedly agree. I am older Christian and am pleasantly surprised and appreciative for your words of wisdom as a younger man/Godly husband-pastor mentoring figure. You really cover the whole gamut of wisdom and discernment concerning listening to other Christians but to also expect some potential disapproval as well as when to really take heed etc. God truly does reveal His truth through the Word and you are refreshingly in tune with Him. It is encouraging. Praying for you and your family.

I’ve been through all of these phases with my now fiancé and now seem to be in a holding pattern with the patience. I go back and forth saying I can’t do this anymore to I’m ready to marry. This morning was tough and after praying I came across this video and it really spoke to me. I asked God for confirmation but he showed me I was being selfish and to continue to have patience.

I saw first the video on why God is hiding my future spouse and returning to this message explains alot about why it feels like a warfare to find clarity since God doesn't want me to know😂. I laugh because God really puts me to test and I spent this days with doubts, reaching to him to tell me and he brings rememberence of him but denies to answer me a yes or no question😂😂😂. Hi Mark Great advice, especially on the Christian advice perspective, I have a situation to where two great pastors I seek advice from told me two different things the first encouraged me in marriage, and told me to start premarital , the other told me because we sinned and almost went to far, that we should break up. Others have told me they encourage premarital, and not to break up. I really trust and believe this is my wife. But sometimes I do get attacks now of what if! Or attack of what happens if I don’t obey the second pastor. I read Jonah and how when things weren’t God’s will it was evident, we’re almost finished w premarital and things have been great, vision has been clear things we’ve prayed about together and individually have line up. But I do ask for prayer to stop always doubting and Trust God!

I believe this is so true, it’s like a testimony but the real one where you and the person are both working towards God’s work!! Even in some degree it was hard and want to give up but having patience help each other to understand each other to conquer the obstacles that’s really his work to show you this person that your with is the one he gives you!!!
