    My first visit to Thailand was 3 months. I drank approximately 85 of the 90 day trip. It’s so easy to drink every day in Thailand. It was unsustainable! When I eventually moved out there, finding hobbies worked much better for me and in the end, was better for my health and pocket. You don’t need to drink every day… Replace the daytime beers with fruit smoothies lol… Love a Tangmo bpun (watermelon smoothie). Also a miracle hangover cure 🤷‍♂️ Funnily enough, I also enjoyed many a bar girl nicknamed Tangmo lol

    Regarding the first one I remember using apps like that and I would always ask for other ways to contacting the person, usually LINE ID, using the initial free credits. I know Thai people never have their heads out of their phones so if they give reasons for only being able to talk on a particular app, move on. She got the commission off him and got him into the restaurant to order food. Amazing the schemes they can work.

    liked the australian story , its my plan to go to the gym alot when i move to thailand for retirement , any chance of doing a videos on some of the more prominent thai kick boxing gyms in bkk phuket samui etc alot of them are residential and cater for foreigners , i have spent years doing kick boxing in the uk and would seek to carry this on, the 3rd farming story just goes to highlight the difference between east and western culture , thats just how it is over there money really is number one in thailand and it has a one way valve on it too , dont ever expect to see it again ,another great video would be the process to go through to rent a reasonable condo in say bkk or a cheap small shop house , take it easy all the best

    Attempting to hit the ground running by lining up a girl over the internet pre-arrival in wonderland has never worked for me. Internet girls are often very dull in person and a 7 is really a 4 without the beauty filters. In contrast, pretty girls with great personalities are everywhere once past the airport arrival hall exit.

    Regarding story #3, your viewers should understand that in a thai family, it is the daughter's responsibility to look after and care for the parents.Thus the mother was always asking g her for money. For a western man who marries a thai...you should know that you might likely be responsible for the parents. The thai male siblings are off the hook!

    It doesn't make sense right? But there is more going on. There's a thrill to having men pay you large sums of money. And there's always another man willing to do so. The same principle applies to racism in the 60s. People were assholes because they didn't see black people as human. Thais have a different culture, language, and look. We are the outgroup. So there's a psychological aspect where we aren't human. It's a mindset. Also remember these girls have been screwed in all sorts of ways by a huge number of men. Also foreign men are seen as alcoholics and mongers. So any woman with a foreign man gets a bad reputation. So very few "good" woman will take that loss of face. All that's left are girls without much empathy. It's complicated.

    Good bunch of stories . Yes it is true the family comes first before the husband that is a given . But it doesnt mean your wife doesnt love you. Unlike western culture where we tend shove the oldies into care homes and forget them . Thais have respect for thier elders beyond what we have . It a different mind set and one I think is good. For example if I grow old and die in Thailand I will be taken care of by family. So while my wife loves her mother more than me its a different love . And I know my motherinlaw has enoumous respect for me because I love and take care of her daughter. To me Thai culture wins hands down over the western family unit.

    Again nice stories. And I fully agree with the drinking. I have to say that I ended up being very bored in Thailand. I have many hobbies, but they are impossible to bring to Thailand. So I ended up in bars every day. It sounds great, but it was very boring, to be honest. I gave up on Thailand in the early 2018. Not Thailands fault, just realised that I needed my hobbies more than a full month of only drinking and f*cking random chicks. I got bored out of my head. True story.

    27:10 Question - why is it an accepted practice that when a girl from overseas comes to a Western Country and when she gets a job it is ok as she is sending HER money overseas....yet... the guy who is working has to commit all of the money he earns to his immediate family (including her)....why isn't HER money counted as combined income and therefore for combined expenditure? It should be - her allowance from their combined income, she can do what she wants to do with it (including sending to her family) and his equal amount of allowance is for him to do what he wants to do with it.

    Learn to say no and have healthy boundaries. Realise people don't have the same idea of what fairness is to you. A dollar for you is one less for her. Understand the way you think isn't how others think. It is what it is I guess. So only believe actions and not words. Don't fall in love with an idea of someone and always realise you may have judged incorrectly. And learn to just walk if it doesn't feel right. The amount of guys who ignore their gut and know they're being taken advantage of, but excuse the behaviour because "culture". They think the girl will be thankful for the help and that will keep them loyal. All these stories have men that knew something was wrong but ignored it.

    Travels from Australia to Thailand and spends all his time in an Aussie bar, typical of most Aussies I met when I lived in Phuket, I lived just below old Phuket town, hated pa tong, awful place! low class, can only guess at the habits he did back in his own country! Most decent Aussies I met tried to distance themselves from their countrymen, I knew a couple who never admitted to coming from there they were so ashamed of their own;

I did not see the sun for 2 weeks during my 1 month stay and that cold rain brrrgh. The prices are crazy ( Bet its worse now). Because of the internet, online purchases and satellite I do not miss anything except an authentic English local Pub, Probably won't live as long here but I am sure I will be having far more fun.

Thinking about it, it makes a relationship so much more complicated if the interests of the parents from both sites are to be taken seriously. Without this relationships are already complicated enough.
