Thank you so much for these tips! - Use sweeping lines and natural curves when drawing hair so it feels more dynamic and alive, even with pin straight hair. It’s easier to zoom out in digital art, and in tradition art avoid using your wrist and work with your elbow - No hair is just one tone; there are multiple undertones and colors so shift the hue and tone when you’re adding shading and highlights so the hair doesn’t look flat - Use fluffy brush for base color; it helps make blending and other details easier later and it also makes hair look silkier. - Don’t think of hair as individual strands; think if it more as chunks and then break them down into smaller chunks later. It helps choose the initial shape at first and go into details later. It also makes the hair look more simplistic and makes highlights quicker and less stressful - Use a round brush throughout the process; it makes the hair look less sharp and helps w smoother blending - Use highlights!

Needed this! I hate drawing hair but want to love it. It always ends up looking okay but I never feel like I know exactly what I’m doing. Mostly what gets me down is I can’t get my strands to be loose, thin and flowy like Kelogsloops does his. Serious hair envy from his work!

Tip 1: Add sweeping lines/curves to hair for a smoother, natural effect Tip 2: Know what color of hair you're using. Add different hues to the base color for a more dynamic look and to create depth Tip 3: Use a fluffy soft round brush. This makes it easier to blend and add detail later Tip 4: Think of hair as separate chunks instead of a whole unit Tip 5: Use a hard round brush when adding details Bonus tip: Add lots of highlights, including back lights to help create more variety and life

But it works for them, it matches the rest of the style, makes the piece cohesive and pleasing to look at, AND they as the artist enjoy it! And that's whats important.

@@shaedcloak5803 If you are sick of the style then look for something new that pleases you and leave the artists you dislike because of their style be. Edit: Actually it is styleS. Because each artist brings something different to the table, which is why I still like it because I can spot the small technical differences but I digress. @@elvingearmasterirma7241 well, thanks for the recommendations. The problem to me is social media buries more unique art and only the more generic ones get attention. I’m just disappointed by how much popularity stuff like this video gets.

@@shaedcloak5803 You can take your disappointment somewhere else then. Commenting as you did here is highly disrespectful and belittles the amount of work and effort put into the artist's pieces. Sincerely, from an artist. Enjoy the new art.
