My problem is blending too much and there are no sharp details ..I think it comes from fear of being too sharp and ending up with bad art that’s not blended at all versus too much blend
@nehamathew5106
4 жыл бұрын
I have the same issue you just gotta be patient with it. I recommend adding a layer, adding darker colors to add definition and blend as much as you like. That way it won't ruin what you have underneath but you can mess with how dark or light you want the definition to be

Today I was studying it and I found out that to add depth or even form to something it's way easier and I do it better when I think I'm sculpting it and not painting. I was shocked with how I started painting and blending today xD Try that and let me know later if it's just me ahdfasdfh
@ShionXeriawind

getting the right amount of sharp and soft edges definitely takes time to study and understand so don't worry and just keep on drawing :) eventually when you look back at your past works you'll see the mistakes you've made and will be able to correct them better in the future, you can also reference your favorite artists and study their works how they do their strokes, details, composition, etc. and apply that to yours, you can also study about hard, soft and loss edges, sometimes there's a lot more sharpness and details in the focal point of a painting because that's where you want to draw the eyes of the viewer compared to the other parts of a painting, it will take time to improve but if you just keep drawing, your latest one will definitely be better than the first one :)

listen to me, i'd would take an oversharpen art over an overblurry art any days. blocks those colors! use the hard brush. overtime you will learn how to get the midtones and make the transistion smoother. then you can freely use the blurring tool without smudging your art everywhere. It took me long enough to realize oh if I blend this it would look better because I was determined to paint harsh edges.

Smudge is also super handy since PS doesn’t really have “dirty” paint brushes in that it’s always opacity blended and not value/hue/saturation aware. Krita and Paintstorm have awesome brushes that pick up and run out of colors, bleeding into what’s underneath rather than just layering on top.

such a great video! i generally tend to overblend and make my art look flat so this was much needed!! video topics: your personal goals + aspirations for your art; how you're going to go about fulfilling those goals; your favourite art inspirations currently; maybe an analysis on your strong points vs weak points? or a series of videos of you pushing yourself out of your comfort zone with art challenges and your takeaways from that? that could be really interesting!
If you're a beginner I recommend using different layers everytime you draw because you could mess up and erase the entire art you created! I have been digital drawing for years now and I still use a lot of layers.

That is something I don't understand. How does she make so perfct lines form the hand over the sweatshirt without making a mess using only one layer? The same for the background. I use all this information and I cannot achive a result remotely close to her painting, which is amazing.
I really loved the video! I have a question, though. When you're painting, how many layers do you use and how do you separate them? I always end up haveing layers for every different little thing. If you could reply I'd be very grateful!
I got so happy when i saw that you posted! i missed You! T T I love how the girl cam out. xD I see you are using the primary colors. I love it. it really brings the piece together. Thank you for this video it was really helpful. : )

literally that brush set changed my life. 😩😩😩 thank u so much
Nice video and I am interested in traditional methods, I like watching watercolor painting videos even just a simple how to videos are topics I enjoy. You could do a series on basic techniques, paint a sky, color density or atmospheric progression, ground an object with shadow, any of these for easy how to subject videos. I know these are always popular on KZread, so it should get you in good with the Algorithm too! Lovely voice over and I look forward to your next video!
I love your aesthetic sm🥺💖

Could you please do a video about how you make your paintings look warmer/cooler. Whenever I try to make a really warm painting they look sunburnt 😐 and when I try to make a cool painting, they look blue. Also this is such a gorgeous painting, you're so talented!
Thank you 💕 i needed some inpso
wonderful video.❤️ I was very happy to see your video. ️❤I support you.

Thank u so much ❤️
Why is your artstyle so pretty tho- Like I mostly draw in a semi-realism/cartoony "anime-like" style (if you can tell I don't know how to describe it) and I still get inspired by little bits and peices of your art ESPECIALLY the colors you use ☺️💛
could you maybe make a video talking about the essential spots for the shadows and highlights of a face? (if that makes sense!) unless you've made one before!
Thankies, this is so helpful! Is there a way to download those brushes to clip studio if possible?💗💗💗
