I know these are general tips but I hope they serve as a good reminder for you to keep going whatever phase or level you are at. Just like English or any other languages, Korean no longer belongs to Korean people alone. It is a tool shared by so many learners and speakers, not just in Korea but outside Korea as well. So there’s no one fixed rule in how you learn and use the language. Nor is there a finish line in your learning journey. So take it easy and have fun, and always be open to learning more (: Here's the time link to each advice: #1 : 0:44 #2 : 3:01 #3 : 4:56 #4 : 5:52 #5 : 7:12 Thank you for watching!

Can I just say, how blessed I am that I found your channel? Because you're so good at teaching that it felt like my brain is just absorbing stuffs! (not that Im good with hangeul now) Its just that you somehow make it sound easy and very understandable. And not to mention, you are so eloquent when it comes to speaking in English! You're perfect! Please continue making videos, especially grammars and how you create sentences and how you combine sentences because that's where I really get lost. Anyways, thank you so much again for the effort. You're an angel and I hope you stay healthy and driven and I hope we become friends here. 정말 갑사합니다,선생님!🥰

I've been interested in korean culture since I was very young and thanks to that I got to learn about the culture and everything at a young age. My boyfriend is Korean and what stresses me is that I might never "sound" native when speaking korean because I'm only at a beginner intermediate level which I think will disappoint him and his family. I read and write in Korean in a very fast pace (even faster than in English) but even tho I listen to native Koreans for more than 70% of my day for maybe 8 years I still can't seem to sound native. I know it seems silly to want to sound native but I'm doing this for my boyfriend and our future. I want to sound native when speaking Korean so he won't feel like there is a huge language barrier or that he is forced to use a language he's not too comfortable using. But thank you so much I will use all of your tips to try and reach my very high goals.

Don't put that much pressure on yourself! You're doing 90% of the job by learning his language and culture and I'm sure that if he loves you he appreciates that :) also, small language barriers are not necessarily a bad thing, accents are cute and misunderstandings sometimes lead to funny situations (and we always need a laugh on a daily basis!). 화이팅!

Okay so I’m a newer learner (still haven’t really gotten down the alphabet) but I want to tell everyone who is learning something and it’s actually what my Volleyball coach taught me and my team and it goes I refuse to be average because anybody can do that. Instead I choose to be remarkable, I take on the mindset of the extraordinary and so I am remarkable. What I mean by “I refuse to be average” is that you should shoot for the stars and not just settle at being “average” because then you are missing out on so many other opportunities!

More than tips to learn a new language, these are life lessons that you can incorporate in any area of your life, the satisfaction to achieve your own goals based solely on your efforts is greater than anything else other people may give it to you for free, also, being able to communicate and learn a new culture it forces you to get out of your own boxed mindset, to fully understand why people have different lifestyles, especially if you move to that country.

It'll be a really foreign concept for those that haven't learnt any second language, but a journey to mastering a language is really a lifelong one. You need to get used to the vast amount of new vocabularies, new grammar rules that your native language might not have, and even after mastering those two, understanding a context or meaning behind the meaning which varies according to the culture to some extent, will take quite a while

In the 4th point as she said its life long kinda thing to learn and not something that can be totally mastered or achieved over a period of time.......its the best reason that we all should keep going since it's not gonna end soon and it's all the matter of progress!♥️🌼

One important thing while learning a language, not just Korean Is to learn the cultural background of the people who use that language and how language is used among natives. Language is not just rules, it's how language is used. Interesting tips indeed.

You said that if you do not live in Korea you will not be able to master the language completely, but I see many idols from China and Thailand who speak Korean fluently as if they are Koreans
