I've been doing travel videos for a while, but a recent issue is bothering me. Every time I make pauses while speaking, I hear this terrible sound on my recordings, leaving me with no other option than cutting those parts. Tried to adjust it manually, until I hear no noises, but then while recording my voice seems too low. So, back to automatic. Any tips for it? Thanks for the video.

I used cannon 1500D but my mic is not working i don't know Why 😭

my problem is that my directional microphone picks up the sound from the lens’s auto focus and i don’t know how to fix it. any tips? my lens is Sigma 17 50 Canon :(

Get an extension cable and take your mic off of your camera. Mount it on a boom or tripod.

Thanks Travel Blog, glad you enjoyed the video. A Hypercardioid Stereo Microphоne would work great for vlogging, perfect for picking up both sound coming from the front and your voice from behind.

whatever you do, don't try and use a livecat sock on your shotgun mic.....very scratchy on the install
