These are great tips for shooting in general, with or without a gimbal. Love your example of carrying hot coffee to illustrate the benefit of doing the ninja walk.

Steve you are definitely a pro at this I’ve watched a few of your tutorials and I have to say all of them are captivating great job my favorite out of all on this particular one is definitely Balancing with the coffee cup that makes so much sense great job I look forward to more from you.

Thank you. I enjoyed the whole video (and many of your other ones)... You're a great teacher, but I must be a terrible student. I can't even seem to be able to hold it right. I would like to keep the smartphone steady while i move forward or just use my torso from left to right, but the damn thing moves anyway (using a DJI OM 5)... It doesn't keep my desired framing, it turns slightly horizontally...

This is the second of your videos that I have watched. I appreciate how practical your tips. I have been working in video for many years; however, I have never used a gimbal. I decided to get started on gimbals with a DJI MO4 and a iPhone 12. I can’t believe how much there is to learn. Thanks for your help.

Always so inspiring to watch your tutorials Sir. I wonder how you make it all look so simple. Great content packed in a small tutorial.

One thing I would add...Play back each clip before moving on to the next shot. You don't want to discover later in the edit that some of your clips don't look as good as you originally thought. Also, you might consider using a Monitor Hood Sun Shade for your phone during playback so you can better see your finished shot.

I find your tutorials and tips great, and it was your review of the Hohem isteady X that convinced me to buy it. This is my first gimbal, and Im struggling with knowing what modes I should be using. I’d love to see a run throw of each mode and how best to use them.

I'm an experienced on set commercial producer and have worked with world class crews. This gentleman knows what he is talking about. Watch his stuff.

Hi, I came across your video as I was admiring the design of my DJI osmo3 and I am not much of a filmmaker, but I didn't realize that just filming an old building using a gimbal could be just as exciting as watching a movie done by pros. I have always had ideas of dynamic filmmaking such as in F1, the cars driving away into the sunset but now that i have a DJI Osmo 3 I can't wait to maybe one day when covid 19 is over and I get to go the motorsport races again, I will be able to do those shots that I have always envisioned. My gimbal is equipped with a power bank.. I'm in love with your channel, I absolutely love this content so much!! I've gotten a decent following on tiktok, but I really wanted to grow my KZread and I honestly think this is going to help.. I've been so afraid of my crappy camera skills but I have gotten a gimbal and a really nice camera, along with your tips I believe everything's going to be okay 👍! Tip Number 6: Look at your screen, (Not where you’re going.) I do this a lot, and have been hit by cars.
