Come on over!
We enjoyed our time in Penang and would consider retiring there. Food, location, etc. Nice that you had a clip with John and Snuffy. Everyone misses him for sure. Appreciate the vlog.

Thank you so much. Yeah we miss him dearly. We were prepared as he was already 15 years old and his health deteriorated over CNY.
Can you do a video on how a Singaporean can retire in Penang by going through the various VISA options? Much appreciated!!!

Wow!! That sounds awesome!
When retirement comes to mind, my only destination is going back to Ipoh. The hawker food is definitely cheaper than Penang, you need to look for it, the locals will know where to go for cheap food. I agree the food scene are scattered in Ipoh. Another reason I would like to leave Klang Valley someday would be because of the traffic and hectic life, you would probably spend more time commuting on the road. I cant say things are any different in Penang. It's so much easier to commute in Ipoh when you compare relatively with these 2 cities. And you will definitely spend very little on a place to own in Ipoh. And if I ever miss Penang, it's only an hour drive away from Ipoh but these days I rather skip Penang. But I still enjoy your videos on Penang, keep up the good work.

Thank you for watching our videos! Really appreciate it! We love Ipoh too! We have relatives and friends living there
Haha, I was just on Penang Hill 3 weeks ago and 20 years ago, too. I would love to retire on Penang Island. We ate so good for so little. After Penang, we went to Taiping. I don't recommend it.😂 Then Ipoh, then KL. I love that rice cake cart on Carnarvon/Campbell. I think it was at this intersection? Only opens after 5:30pm...

Ah yes the street that comes alive in the evening! Penang Hill unfortunately is less cooling compared to the past, but it's one of our fav hiking trails
