Is there a way to attach 2 pencil mic directly, do you think Line Audio CM4 will able to fit? Is there a joint adaptor to able to rotate the mic so it can be 90,120 or other form of stereo mix? Do you think it's worth all that or just get a Sennheiser MKE 440 stereo mic? Is it possible to record these 2 XLR as individual track and also the 3.5mm line in as its own track so 2 stereo tracks? I want to record stereo walk video with my behind the camera commentary on a camcorder, I can use the Sennheiser MKE 440 as stereo mic and a single Pencil Condenser CM4 facing backward to me that way, but can it be achieved and can I line all this out to the camcorder so I don't have to sync but still able to record to the Zoom F3 internally as a higher quality and also a backup?

Hi, yes you can plug in microphones directly depending on the thickness. 18mm or thinner yes anything beyond 18mm they won’t go in. So I can fit a 416, Rode NTG3, Samson C02 goes in but anything thicker like Oktava mk012 Rode NT5, Sennheiser mkh 50 no chance. I saw someone using it with what seemed to be the Sennheiser mkh 8050, I reckon that one is within 18mm. I know there are some angled adaptor I just know if there at the orientation you’re looking for. You can record stereo using both inputs, but that’s it this device only has 2 xlr inputs, it has no 3.5mm TRS. You can record and send audio to a camera at the same time, hope this answers your question.,Thanks.

I see, that website say the CM4 is 77mm X 20mm, hmmm, isn't pencil condenser just a cylinder, it doesn't get bigger but same size from bottom to the top, if the cylinder can plug to the XLR port, it should be ok to have another one isn't it? Seem like a misoppotunity not to have 3.5mm line in and USB C in too, hope firmware update can enable that, their recent new musician focused recorded also missed opportunity not to have build in stereo mic, but it is basically a new H mic just without build in or attachable stereo mics

What kind of mic would you recommend for this?
