Its amazing how biased this channel is towards german cars, and how parker almost never has anything good to say about japanese cars.

I used to be an Audi R8 fan, but after this vehicle released I fell in love with it. Sure, it may be slower than the r8, but it has the tech you get on a 800k+ ferrari. Most importantly, Honda cars are way more reliable than Audi cars

First you say it has 3 electric motors and one gasoline, and that this concept is doing well. After that you say that the car feels "Behind the time". Well I have never seen a vehicle like that "Behind the time"...

Acura just tried hogging the action caused by BMW's i8 and failed miserably.

The muffler is tuned down a bit. In the future, they should make it sound deeper and louder, which would bring it to sounding like a true supercar.

I agreed with everything you said until you mentioned the price. Yes 180k is a lot. But there is no rule that says Acuras can't be expensive. Just because it doesn't wear a Ferrari badge, or even an Audi badge doesn't mean Acura can't price to car to represent the energy and research they put into it. The stigma that a 180k Acura or a 375k Lexus is "too much" bothers me. European and Italian manufacturers charge that kind of coin for their cars all the time and no one bats an eye. I mean, look at the M4 GTS for example. What's so special about that car that it's priced at 130k? I do not like the double standard.

because people think japanese = cheaper and therefore inferior. i bought an '04 tsx after considering a 3-series and A4. after some basic mods (intake and suspension), my tsx is really fun to drive and still cost way less given the features that came standard. 13 years and 150k miles later, only the door lock actuators have gone out and i don't feel like spending the $800 to fix them (will probably do that myself since parts only cost $80). so yeah, of course i love that avatar ha ha.

This car only sounds bad if you own a Lamborghini... However, in the world of increased downsizing (turbo 4cylinders) this sounds rather interesting, epecially in person :)

1. The core thing to remember about the NSX is bringing what they learned from Formula 1 to the consumer. 2. A core thing about Honda is they will service the broadest customer base they can with their niche vehicles. The 6 cylinder worked because it was faster than Ferrari and Porsche AND spoke to Honda's customer base that never experienced a Honda withmore than 6 cylinders. So when they came out with a V10 engine it was because they were using V10s in Formula 1. When the Formula 1 engines were not that great they scrapped the program. The front engine program came from JGTC HSV-010GT. It used a V8, but there was nothing special to add to compete with the much more aggressive enginr programs from Ferrari and Porsche. So why all the electronic turbo V6 stuff in the new NSX?? BECAUSE THEY ARE USING IT IN FORMULA 1. There is no comparison of technological prowess to the new Honda NSX today ***at its pricepoint***. For a lot of Honda's followers that is important. That was the same case it made with the first Honda NSX. Without history one easily misses the perspective about this car. I am not a fan boy for Honda. I don't particularly car for the NSX. I do respect what they are offering as an expression of who they are.

The only problem with this car is the price. Honda is being a little bit too ambitious pricing it with Audi R8s and Porsche cars.

Wow the car actually triggered you! The car is AWESOME! Overpriced - yes! But it will go down like the first one - collectable/game changer!

Still excelerates faster then almost every other car that has a price up to 400k

Resale on these will be higher than the R8 eventually, look at 10 yr old S8s , lol. And the electronics will still work in the Honda 10 yrs from now.

We can´t judge the car because of it's announcement date compared to it's release date, we must see how it compares to cars of today. In that sense, this car is great, although a bit too complex. By the way, I don't understand why Parker doesn't like it's sound, I think it sounds Vsexy

Maybe if/when honda make a new nsx it'll be like the old nsx. I think honda tried to make the new nsx like the old nsx in the way we weren't expecting them to and then they failed at that too. They probably wanted though make it futuristic for the time like the old nsx.

Good point! And the Ford GT is super overpriced for what it is. The only reason they could have priced it that high is because they produced it in such stupidly limited numbers, so they became instant collectors items.

Interior quality terrible?? At least it doesn't have sticky buttons like older Ferraris or the crappy interior look of the maclarens. I drove a 570s. Only problem was the driver door wouldnt shut until the service guy fixed it. I owned Ferraris and Porsches. I now own an nsx and this car is amazing. Ferraris are totally unreliable and porsches all look the same. Amazing cars but so is this and i get more thumbs up than i ever did with those other cars.

Seems like people either love or hate the NSX. Its just different and confuses everyone thats the problem. They don't know what to compare it too.

Matt got golf clubs in there small not so much.

the nsx is awesome....if it said audi on the badge instead of acura everyone would be raving about it.

obviously this new NSX was designed by a whole new different group of people. i rather buy a 2002 old NSX period.

to be honest if the nsx just drop the hybrid crap and get that turbo v6 engine to produce around 600hp that car will weight easily 200kg less cost at least 50k less and would have been a killer of a car
