First thing i did to mine was the rear diffuser, blow off valve, and i just bought the R600 racing line intake. I wanna buy a Maxton splitter but I don't wanna drill in to my bumper.

Other than the cooled seats, as someone who lives in Texas leather seats suck lol. They get hot and sticky and you sweat too much. Not only that, the plaid seats in the GTI are too iconic not to get! My wife owns a 24 GTI with a DSG and we’re both happy with it so far. If it were my car I’d go with the 6mt but since I only occasionally drive it the DSG is plenty fun

Thats fair, i agree the plaid is cool but for me personally leather just works for my lifestyle better....

I always have a towel to throw on my seat and I live in Texas too. I'm sticking with my MKVII because I just don't like that they deleted a lot of storage space from the MKVIII. Why did they mess up a good thing?? And I can't believe the front seats now have no adjustable headrests. I prefer adjustables so I can lower them to look over the seat more easily if backing up at night. Habit, I've never really gotten used to the backup camera. I always turn over my shoulder out of years of pure habit.

Curious, does your car have an overhead sunglasses compartment? I saw a MK8 at a dealership and was dismayed by the removal of the glove box under the headlight switch. Now I have to put my garage opener in the center console if I buy one. I didn't look up but I think they removed the sunglasses holder. WTF??
