Without a doubt, this year will be worse than the last. I lost a lot of money last year as a result of bad investment choices that I would not have made if I hadn't been so worried about my portfolio. I kept investing, but I couldn't determine whether to start paying for a house. In the end, I sold my positions, and the house needed more work than I had planned. I'm not sure how long I can keep going like this

True. My portfolio was diversified across several markets with the help of a financial planner, and were able to achieve over a million in net profit among high dividend yield equities, ETFs, and bonds. It is vital that you have a variety of exposure, including in firms that are currently generating cash flows.

Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

@@malikbeluga7545interesting take. PayPal still dominates the ePay market. If you believe they can maintain dominance- in an expanding industry, why would you believe their time horizon is just 2-3 years? The market generally doesn’t work like that. Buying stocks just because they are undervalued is a terrible strategy. Management and growth prospect and really knowing the company is equally as important. Many companies are undervalued for a reason…
@MrPtheMan
6 күн бұрын
I can argue the same reason why not to buy stocks that are overvalued. No one knows the future, his strategy does work, but a lot of people want to buy now, tomorrow sell at an all-time high. Like I said, no one knows the future. But trying to find a good company in a value price and see the returns in 5 years with growth is not a bad strategy.
@yking8565

"Undervalued" implies that they actually should be higher valued than the current price reflects. So what you mean, I think actually is, that they are correctly valued with their current price, since they don't hold more value.

Haven’t you used the word ‘undervalued’ incorrectly? ‘Undervalued’ means the price is less than it should be (just as ‘overvalued’ means the price is higher than is warranted). Aren’t you trying to say it’s unwise to buy stocks just because they’re cheap (because they may well be cheap for a good reason and may get, and stay, cheaper)?

EM money is a goldmine for making money short their picks buy calls on their "overvalued" stocks" profit. It's because they have a habit only picking "undervalued" popular stocks that are undervalued for a reason, paying too much attention to the numbers and less to the moat/competition. At the same time they overlook companies that have solid growth, huge margins, good moats becuase they are "overvalued", and never hit their ludicrous price targets. has worked for 2 years.
