My PS5 has been doing this sht since I got it. Most of the time I can unplug it for an hour and it's good, but it did it last night, and it's been out since. It beeps once, but that's it.

Thank you soooooo much!!! My system turned off in the middle of a game last night and wouldnt turn back on I just got my system a few months ago and I’m really disappointed in Sony. Been with them my whole life for TVs, Speakers, PlayStations, and the quality of their products have gone down significantly and that goes for most companies. Making cheap stuff while charging us an arm and a leg for it

What worked for me was to simply disconnect all the cables for at least a minute and then put the power supply cable (which goes in the ps5) upside down to how it was originally for you (180 degrees)

My PS5 does not turn on at all. No lights, no noises, no nothing. I've tried every trick in the book, like changing cords, forcing it on with controller, holding down all the buttons, etc. Nothing works. I am assuming that the power supply is just broken, but I've only had this console for 2 years now and no other console i've had in the past has had an issue this quickly. Sony screwed me over on this one...

For everyone saying it doesn’t work, I have some sobering news for you. Bite the bullet and send it in for repair stop spending hours searching on KZread and grabbing at straws, like I did. Just take the two weeks and send it in, especially if you have a warranty, when you see your PS5 light up again it will all be worth it.

I was playing Street Fighter 6 last night and suddenly the console shut itself off out of the blue and I can't turn it back on. I tried replacing the power cords but it didn't work. I had the console vertically the whole time ever since I got it. Edit: I think the insides are somewhat clean. Why won't it turn back on? BTW there is no light on my console.
