we got you!
I got the camera and table and white paper backdrop. What else do I need to buy for this same exact setup? 1 or 2 softbox, how many watt light to get for these softboxes? And do I need to buy a camera flash or my M6 mark ii default flash will work fine? I am very new to irl photography and lighting stuff, I do mostly product rendering in 3d and I have good knowledge of that.
Thank you
I'm pretty sure it's not the first time you hear this but your photos look unrealistically good. They are so clean and sharp they look like some computer generated vector graphics. Any advice for a starter? Are you using any specific camera/settings/lense to achive such beautiful shots?

well as a beginner that spent WAY more than most would (getting in to it as business) anyway I am a total newbie and honestly my sony a7siii made my pics look totally like this. I know most say its the photographer not the camera, but in product photography... not so much.

@@jamesl.223 Wrong! as a professional photographer I (and any pro or enthusiast photographer) can use just about any camera body, a decent sharp lens (very helpful of course) and the right quality of light to make professional quality product shots. I do this all the time even with my non "L" glass. It is using the right diffusion or lack there of and the right light modifiers and most importantly the correct ratios of key lights to fill lights or reflected light.
What does the flash head and the air remote transmitter do?
Do the 2 lights set ups work to reach pure white background?
This is great!, thanks. It should be possible to recreate with ofc flashes like SB 800’s, right?

Yes, absolutely! The positioning of the lights are key for these setups not so much the power output.
Good!
Great video. My only question is was there a third light involved? Seems like there is a flash being used as well. Yes?

isnt him using a strobe?
What setting camera to use shooting product? Like apeture, iso and shutterspeed.
Can you share something about the camera and the lens you are using here ?
nice ! what the camera setting ?
What camera lens are you using?
what camera was used? i dont see it in description
What is the name of those types of lights inside your softboxes? I have no equipment so im a little confused in general, what do i need to look out for with a softbox to know if it will fit a specific light? :D Thankyou!

The type of lights used in this video are ProPhoto D1 strobes. but for this type of set up just about any strobe lighting will work. As far as soft box Compatibility usually the product description will specify which brand of strobe it is made for.
Great info. Do you use a flash along with continuous light? What type of flash (strobe or speed) ?
@Lensrentals

We used strobes with the modeling light on the Profoto B10's

@@Lensrentals Lol. So these lighting setups don't really show the... lighting setup?
Hey mate, what cemera are you using?
It looks good but still feel that front portion near the logo deserved some more pop
finaly a perfect video simple and easy everyonelse is so booring and waste of time
I see a flash going off where do you have your flash placed?
would love to know how to shoot from above
Where are you positioning the flash head on the video?
why are you useing flash when soft boxes are on? where is the flash coming from?
@Mzs247

Right?
Where’s the flash coming from?
what camera is that?
Why am I still seeing a flash when you take a photo? Is it not continuous lighting only?
What are your setting at?
lens used
But there is strobe also u didn’t mention
you have a spelling error in step 5. just a heads up
Do you really need a flash in this day and age
@Lensrentals

It's not a requirement. You can defiantly achieve a lot of the same things with a continuous light source as you can with a strobe.
I don't see how the flash is contributing
And there are harsh glares everywhere
Difficult to follow with no audio.
It's too flat
