Will miss you Shoe. They are never gone so long as you don't forget. When the teams were split up recently, I had a feeling he felt he had done his bit and started tons of people on their way to keep it going. He might have single handedly had a huge percentage in the preservation of the sport. Thanks Brian.

I think without he and John force and their approach to sponsorship the sport wouldn't be anywhere as good as it is now. They figured out the way to put money in their pockets and put on the best possible show and give their sponsors huge returns on their investment
RIP Don Schumacher For me number #1 it has to be “the run” , perhaps the greatest accomplishment in drag racing history

I first saw Don at US 30 in Indiana, what a class act. He will be missed.
Godspeed Mr. Schumacher. You will be missed. I'm very surprised "The Run" in 2006 wasn't mentioned here. The most incredible deal ever to be accomplished in my opinion.

His is building cars and team in heaven now, I’m celebrating dons racing legacy in this life time,I,never had the pleasure of talking to him , but his presents onthe tv at the NHRAraces are fore ever in my eyes mind, thanks BigAl California,,, praise Jesus Christ grace amen 🙏 ❤
