Safety and build are two different things. Stronger build may prevent car shell body, but then crumble zones are equally important to take accident impact and prevent passengers of sudden jerks. This is why in the cars, specially with 3 row seats, the boot space length is important so that it give enough crumble space in case something hits from behind. Crash tests actually look for the safety of passengers and pedestrians.

@@WondrousExplorer Bro the main componet are the pillars if it remains intact then in most cases u would be safe. Yes crumple zone is provided so as to prevent the impcat from reaching the pillars or else other parts which creates a chance of breaking . So

Yesterday I saw four 7 seater cars 1. Kia Carens 2.Safari 3.XUV700 4.Innova Hycross. Honestly speaking the Kia carens and Hycross are real 7 seater cars. Very comfortable cars. You must check these two cars before deciding on any other 7 seater car. Although I finalized Hycross, Kia Carens is also a better option than Safari and Xuv700 or any other 7 seater.

Sir ji Mai Wagon R owner hu. Mai carens 1.5 prestige petrol and xl6 me se koi 1 Lena chahta hu. Engine performance and milage ke basis pe Kaun si leni chahiye. Only MT and for 7 to 10 year use karne ke liye.

If Maruti could sell ertiga for 8.13 ex showroom then Kia can also do it. it's not a big deal i guess.

You can't put seat covers on a 6 airbags car... because it has airbags in the seat..if you put seat covers on it, the airbags won't open... Maybe some new types of seatcovers can come in few months

@@kartiksharma-bg6kk I guess that’s true for bucket fitting seat covers which are stitched after tearing off original seats. Other regular seat covers should be ok. I know seats do have a sensor underneath to detect weight.

Last year we witnessed an episode where seltos gets divided into two halves. And then comes this car which have bigger size and lower price. Plz anyone can throw some light over this topic. Does They have cut a lot over the built quality?? Is it a safe car or this is just a death box.

Only if Kia worked on improving build quality like other manufactures then it might get successful in giving super tough competition to other cars. For now in my opinion and observation I have seen a car enthusiasts only buying Tata, Mahindra in this type of budget.

Agree with you brother. Big brands like Maruti, Hyundai,Kia don't maintain build quality. Sometimes, i feel govt should mandate NCAP testing for each. If it becomes 95percent of Maruti calls will fail except Brezza and Ciaz

The fact this car just doesn't have the sheer power to haul 7 people with luggage @highway speeds atleast in Diesel & NA petrol form. Turbopetrol is good but is a gas guzzler. Nevertheless a good product that mirrors Mahindra Marazzo but @even lower price point.

For those planning on 1.4 Turbo Petrol Manual, an eye opener. There is a design flaw where there is pickup issue in first and second gear, specially when going on an incline and slotting from 1st to 2nd. It's VERY UNSAFE to drive on hilly areas. It even struggles on the ramp of car parking area. Second issue is Hill Assist, which do not disengage on pressing accelerator, but takes its own sweet time of 2/3 seconds. Kia is promising an update to fix, but who knows when. Pls do a thorough test drive on inclines, or better yet go for another brand/car.
