Listen to what she has to say everything is so absolutely true. When getting an enclosure one with mesh walls will help ventilate air through the enclosure go with the repti breeze xl it's so much bigger than the medium size more room for plants and branches. The vines and foliage in the kits is a joke you really do need live plants; pathos, umbrella tree, money tree are just some of many different types. For branches you are better off getting branches outside and then cleaning them off taking off the bark isn't that necessary either. For supplements zoo med with NO d3 and mix it with some bee pollen every feeding and then calcium powder with d3 a couple times a month there are loads of other alternatives too for insects crickets were by far really great for my chameleon she would eat 3 to 5 in one sitting and they were 1/2 in size and she is just a few months old they aren't noisy at all they are a bit jumpy but she does loves her food when its active and moving around.

Love this video and what you provide to the cham community! To add- If you will be keeping a chameleon in your room, it is very important to adapt to their lighting. When it’s light out for them, it’s lights out for you. If needed get a little lamp in your room to use when their lights are out while blocking their view from the lamp. Do not keep a ceiling light on when it’s bed time for them. You have to be willing to adapt to their livelihood❤️

I've got a question, is it possible for a female and male chameleon to coexist with eachother after a few months in the same cage? Just curious.

Hi love the videos I want to get a chameleon and have done the research but just wanted to ask is near my stairs a okay place for it to be as I know they don’t like a lot of people but it is tucked away a bit and won’t be looked at every time we go past it ,thanks John

That really depends on the chameleon and how much foot traffic there is. It sounds promising, but even if you don’t look at the chameleon they could still get nervous seeing you walk by it.

Okay thanks , I’m looking at veiled but maybe panther and I’d say the foot traffic is quite limited most days probly walk past it at maximum 100 or so times a day

100 times seems like a lot 😅 you can always try it move them if they seem stressed out. I would make sure they have lots of plants so they can hide and feel safe.

Hey quick question, can fragrance plugins or scents candle cause harm to chameleons?

Some chameleons have been sensitive to airborne things so I'd avoid using them in the same room as a chameleon.

Is it better to have my chameleon in my living room where me and my wife with our doggies hang out? Or should i put him in our spare bedroom where he can have his alone time?
