I lost my Chameleon Checker today 😞😔 I did everything I could. I took her to the vet and she plummeted from there. I thought I was doing everything right.

love ur videos!! do you recommend leaving basking light on for 10-12 hrs as well? I’ve seen many sites that say only 1-3 hours. Thank you!

what about like if your misting and a chameleon closes its eyes. is it bad if the chameleon gets water in its eyes? also first to comment :)

No, it’s fine. I would say try to avoid by adjusting nozzle. I’ve had multiple chams get sprayed by MistKing during misting cycles. Don’t see any issues.

Closed eyes during misting is totally fine! Just try to avoid misting them directly if you're able to.

Oh noooo. A prime example of chameleon that isn't doing well :(

I got my chameleon about 3 weeks ago he is a male amblobe panther cham and he goes to sleeps around 2 hours before the light turn off.my lights turn off at eight but he is usally in his spot sleepeng and he is 9 months old.i have the wrong size enclosure so we will be buying the correct size,mine is a foot short,and we will get your kit that is correct.

Just change his sleeping schedule. I turn on lights at 6:30am. Turn off basking 1 Hr before bed. Turn off UVB lights at 6:30pm When you buy a new chameleon. It takes roughly a week or so to adjust to new keeper. It’s normal for chameleon to go the bed an hour before bedtime 👍 Also the bigger the cage the better. But determine size of cage by its age & size.

Like the previous comment mentioned, it can take them time to get settled into a new light schedule. Give them time to adjust and tweak your light schdule as needed.
