5 Reasons Why You Should Buy A 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia - Quick Buyer's Guide

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

There's special cars on the market, but sometimes they're unappreciated. The 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce is one of them. Luxury sedans with a four cylinder usually lack an exhilarating driving experience, but the Alfa Romeo Giulia's Italian heritage shines, as it's fun handling, impressive performance, and inspiring looks makes it one of the most intriguing cars out there today. But is it better than a BMW 330i, Audi A4, or a Mercedes Benz C300? Let's find out!

2017 Ti Lusso. Will never sell this thing. This car is about the DRIVE, not touchscreens. I have 50K miles no rattles, nothing broken, still smooth as butter, scoots to 60 in 5.5, and corners like a slot car. Reminds me of my E46 BMW of 20 years ago. Oh, and its Italian beauty is timeless. If you just need a car get anything else, if you need to feel love, the Giulia is your only option.

These cars are amazing! I have owned Mercedes, BMW and Lexus and they can not compare to the rawness of this car. I cannot iterate how dynamic this sedan is. If consumers just stop listening to the criticism of ALFA ROMEO and just try it for themselves they would too be amazed of how special these cars are. Stop being a follower and go out on a limb sometimes and be amazed. I did! And I have enjoyed every moment of ownership.

I just topped over 52K in my 2019 , and besides a minor sunroof repair under warranty, the car has been flawless. It's the kind of car that really grows on you, unlike the German cars I have owned in the past.

I've driven its competitors and none quite provide the driving experience for which Alfa Romeo is known! The Alfa seems to telepathically know my intension before I'm aware I've even made one.

You obviously understood the essence of Alfa Romeo and its differentiation to others. I have a remark which would be the same for most videos like this. I have no idea who convinced so many people that not having a big fast touch screen and 300 unnecessary apps with 8000 unnecessary functions means that the car is technologically less good. Not everything that exists needs to be integrated in a car. The main technology we should think about in cars is the technology needed to drive it (+ safety). And that means powertrains, suspension etc. Alfa knows how to develop those very well. They have been doing it for 112 years! So there should be differentiation between technology which makes a good car to drive and all the available digital technology which you maybe could use if you would be using car to play with it for hours on parking space. If you would use it while driving you would be dangerous, not paying attention to road. It seems that average people just don't understand that the technology which you need to enjoy driving (not sitting in a car) is mostly the mechanics, not screens and apps. The more boring car you develop the most you need to cover its lack of character with all sorts of digital technology, which you can find on 300 UDS smartphone. So many people are misled by this. They buy a car with all possible ‘hi-tech’ and then they use 15 functions instead of 72345 possible functions? Is that fair if you compare all the development needed to make a good car that costs 50.000 USD? Is it bad if it doesn’t have everything that your smartphone has? Do you need that? In this manner, not to follow all the unnecessary trends is a very good decision for Alfa. I guess it’s bad for selling a car to big crowds, but when you see someone buying a Giulia, you know it’s not just someone with money. You know this person cares for cars, cares for design and loves driving. We are losing cars like this and you mentioned it very well. You made a very nice summary.

Reliability tends to be a card people keep throwing out there as a reason not to buy a Giulia. Maybe I can be the voice for squash that perception. I bought my 2019 Giulia preowned back in 2020 and I've put 37,000 miles on it so far and haven't had any major concern or issues at all.

I have a 2019 Stelvio Ti and I absolute love how it drives and handles. The Giulia being a car probably feels even better. But with how closely priced the Giulia and Stelvio are, probably cause they're almost identical, Stelvio is going to be more popular in this SUV oriented market. But if I went with the Quadrifoglio edition, the Giulia is the one to get hands down.

I have found that sometimes when you drive in Advance mode (auto stop) with the AC on, the engine will turn off when you’re at a stop. You have to turn it on again. I think it’s an electrical misfire from the battery to the engine. It has happened 3 times on Advanced mode. Doesn’t always happen but it can. A quick fix could be to drive on N (natural or normal) which is what I mostly drive, or on D (dynamic or sport). Or you can manually press a button that turns off the auto stop so u don’t have to worry about it. Other than that, the car drives really good especially on D and N. Great handling too

@@vomErsten My wife actually had an M240i on order. It was actually supposed to be finished and in transit to the dealership in another week or two. Last minute before the m240i came in we went to check out the genesis and she loved it. Bought it on the spot and cancelled the BMW order. They were literally the same MSRP too...

I was in love with my Giulia and Alfa Romeo as a brand, however, I will never again buy/recommend another Alfa Romeo in my life. I had the brake by wire system fail on me and it caused me to crash and total the car. They sent someone from Bosch to diagnose the vehicle and in the charts it clearly showed that something malfunctioned (brakes were slammed 2 seconds before the impact at 40 MPH and it took more than 1.5 seconds for the speed to start going down.) Stellantis told me that they were not going to take responsibility for it and that I needed to have my insurance pay for the vehicle. Absolute garbage. I will never recommend this car brand to anyone again! Buy an AUDI, BMW or Mercedes instead.

@@aaronc1500 Mercedes had a similar, selfmade system and it failed completely. This is a system by Continental and its now used in the BMW 8 Series or the new M3 too. So if your story is real than you just had bad luck and its Continentals fault, not Alfas, Stellantis or BMWs. This braking system is known for being reliable, doesnt matter if its build in a Alfa or BMW. Know your facts first and dont be a loser without hobbies that pretends to be a hero by copying this bs ,,to keep people away".

@@DonViToCRLNE It wasn't selfmade. Get your facts stright. It was made by Bosch (which makes Mercedes responsible too. Vicarious liability.) Matter of fact, any manufacturer is responsible for component failure if they approve its use on their vehicles. That's just how it is. Another thing to point out, it's only on their 2003 and 2005 models. they stopped using it. Not like Alfa. Still using it on their newer vehicles. I'm pretty sure BMW and the other reliable car manufacturers will stop using it after they see problems develop. BMW, Mercedes, and Audi are known for their reliability. Alfa is not. Also, this system is not known to be reliable, yet. It's a new system, and it should stay in R&D longer until it is proven to be much more reliable than the standard hydraulic sytem. So with that being said, get a life you alfa fanboy.

@@aaronc1500 lol why am i an alfa fanboy? Because i point out facts?🤣🤣 Whatever makes you happy dude. Its not known that these Alfa models have those problems and your single case is not the reason to say ,,its an unreliable system all over Alfas and then even BMWs models". This system is called MK C1 by Continental and its already used in a lot of cars. Now they made the MK C2. Its a reliable system and it will be used more and more, especially for hybrid and electric cars and a butthurt keyboard warrior cant change it. Alfa is unreliable? John Lee...you have obviously never owned or driven a giulia. Most of the BS reliability comments come from BMW fanboys. Every car maker has recalls and safety issues. Remember the issue and major lawsuit with Toyota a few years ago where people were being killed because of runaway accelerators?

@John Lee - I'm just stating facts. Toyota and Honda are arguably the most reliable cars on the planet, and they can still have problems. You have not said what facts or experience you're basing your useless comments on...or even what you drive as a daily. If you got so but hurt that your only response is an insult, then I'm pretty sure no one reading these comments even care if you exist.
