Same happened to me but if you ho back to plat you will have an easier time getting back to diamond and if you keep playing you’ll eventually stay stable in diamond

Currently Champ 2, I still see way too often that people try to ''pass'' the ball by slowly dropping it in front of the goal expecting it not to be cleared

I was stuck in plat for about a month or two. What I reccomend is to stay away from freestyling. Just focus on the fundamental mechanics and make every in game decision purposeful. That's how you get out of plat. The advise above is also viable to get out of diamond, but you can practice freestyling in moderation.

I just hit plat about 2 weeks ago and this is very helpful. Thank you for not just trash-talking us plats.

Little late but I definitely agree on the finding a teammate for that Synergy. Whether it's your friend or some random! I've been struggling to keep in Diamond 1 for a bit, one day I was really it and got all the way up there, but the past few days I've been struggling to keep up. Just this morning I randomly queued into a duos with this guy and me and him just clicked, I made good passes, he always had the shot ready to go. And if we made mistakes we respected each other and didn't take it too seriously. I went from somewhere in mid Plat all the way back into Diamond one, both of us always getting relatively similar scores, and every game we played together we won, except the last one ironically. But yeah that synergy is really where it's at!

I’m a plat 2 mainly, I win two games, I lose two games. It doesn’t matter what the gamemode is the cycle is endless! But thank u for this advice I’ll try and apply it. (I’m so tired of plat.) ):

I agree 100% once you’re stuck in that loop it is extremely difficult to get out of

This would help very well,but i am the only one in my lobbys whos tryna improve,my mates dont focus on getting better or they dont even use brain

im between mid plat and early diamond and it's does really help to play with a friend that'll play and know ur strengths and weaknesses so they can help and do the things ur bad at and u'll do the things ur teamm8 needs to improve on also rumble to me feels very underrated and i have bad ping so that kinda stops me from getting higher at the moment

I’ve been a solo Q 3’s Plat since January. Admittedly I don’t play much ranked but when I try to grind I usually just go down. My five reasons for being stuck in play are….. 1. Solo q 2. Solo q 3. Solo q 4. Solo q 5. Can’t flip reset. Forgot 6. Smurfs. Lots and lots of smurfs.

plat is super hard to get out of for me. rn i'm stuck between plat 2 and 3 in 2s and 3s (and have been since S1). i'm already trying the tips listed, except for two of them. i almost always solo-queue, and i sometimes play ranked when i don't even feel like playing rl. i did pinpoint some other problems i have, like hesitation and boost management, but there are some problems i have trouble seeing even when i look at replays.

I often see plats who flipnin every ball instead of putting it higu were the oponnents can get it less easy

I quit ranked and started playing casual for a while and since trying to get back into ranked I noticed I have significantly improved in comparison to my teammates, this means I basically just can’t rank up if I solo queue

dude I have been stuck in plat for 3 YEARS, it’s not even funny anymore, I can’t win becuase I spend 30 or more hours a week and spend 4/6 hours playing training, then once I play my teammates (9 GAMES OUT OF 10) decide to leave all the defense to me against people who can flip reset somehow, and then blame me for being trash and leave, I’m stuck plat 3 div 1-4 and everytime I get to division 4 (one game away from diamond) my teammate throw so badly 3 games straight putting me at div 3 scared to lose div 3 because of how trash my teammates mentality is, they expect me to be some world class defender, while they miss all the open nets and hog the ball so much when I have opportunities, yes I don’t freestyle as much, because thats literally useless as the other team will always win the ball because of them somehow being plat 3 and just freestyling like champ or smth idk I just want to get out of plat yes I do play bad in some games still but most games it’s my teammates who blame me all day while they miss so many opportunities and take away so many. please give me advice I feel like training certain things are useless now. Oh yea too when I party up I get too nervous and end up own goaling accidentally 😂 but still yeah it’s becuase of me in bad positions I could prevent that by being in better positions but enemies have evolved they can fake, redirect, and do alot more it’s very difficult.

My tip as a diamond/champ is to dont freestyle too much unless it is your focus. When I was around gold I practiced freestyling a lot and learned how to flip reset air dribble and ceiling shot consistently and yea I was styling on my opponents but it didn't work out the same on 2s and 3s if you solo q. Rn im diamond/champ and I play ranked and still freestyle on some of my games but not as much as I did before or (in my opinion) I will get stuck. So in conclusion focus more on more useful mechanics like air roll shots or power shots and now and then if you want practice freestyling. Edit : sorry for making you read my essay lmao
