    Shouldn't the 5th drill be done with opposite sided arm and leg? For instance if your right leg is the standing leg, then it's your right arm following through while your left leg comes off the ground, just like a pitching motion? I noticed in the demo it was all done on the same side. Just wondering.

  • @dirusj4006

    @dirusj4006

    7 жыл бұрын

    Stability helps keep everything in the same position every time. Watch how a pro pitches and then try to repeat the motions they made... now you need to be able to do that motion over and over without any major changes to where your front foot lands... the position of all your body parts... all of it needs to be very close to the same.

    Did you ever have problems with the mount? Well.....yesterday I pitched on a mount which basically was only sand......everytime I threw my front foot drilled itself into it and I kinda fall and couldnt really control the pitches.....I couldnt get the sand any harder and it was the same on the whole mount. Any ideas against that cause we're going to play there again soon. Thanks

    Watch all of his videos. Lift weights and by weights I mean legs too. Probably more legs than arm workouts because that's where your energy should come from. Do drills and practice. Your first pitch after a fastball I would suggest developing would be a change up. Watch his videos and practice.
