I like Damien because it seems he's made growth over his time as Robin. He's a lot like Batman in the way he cares for people but has issues showing it which can't really be helped because of his upbringing. I don't blame him for the people he's killed. P.S. I don't like to count Injustice as a good representation of Damien, at least not the games. I think Damien killing Zsazs in revenge is much better than him killing him because he has to prove a point.

+Bee Man Yes Damian did try to become the sole son of batman when he was first introduced but that was years ago and he's grown a hell of a lot since then. He and Dick now have a really fun brother like relationship and he's fiercely protective of the bat family so he wouldn't kill any of them. I like that Damian is an arrogant little shit that is constantly forced to learn that he isn't the best just because of his upbringing and that he's Batman's son. I also find it amusing that a difficult person like Batman would have a difficult son like Damian.

I feel more people should appreciate Damian, I myself compare him to Jason, he feels killing is a way of being a hero, and he well doesn't feel so great about batman... Now whenever I see people hate Damian for these reasons and claim to prefer Jason I feel a bit like they are not following the storyline threw the comics. Also Damian didn't always act so mean to batman in a few comic series there relationship was very well put, a young stubborn boy and his father! I really liked the Idea Damian had more going on in life then the other robins. Plus Tim kind of showed up out of no where and his back story seemed to be to simple, not that I'm saying I don't like Tim! I really do like him as a Robin. When it comes to the inconsistency of the Zsasz kill, I'm pretty sure since Bruce is retelling the story himself, that he lied and made it simpler to understand while still getting the point across, Damian is a murderer, Damian killed Zsasz, Damian is with Superman

Damian: “He’s not my father, and neither are you”. Alfred: “And for that young man you should be eternally grateful”. Son of Batman

I have a problem when the so-called heroes let monsters go through a revolving door faux-prison to kill again. Damian may not be entirely in the wrong here. Even cops are allowed to kill criminals when there seems to be no other choice. And that's not touching the Joker who in his career has killed enough people to depopulate a couple of towns.

What? Why is killing someone who is a danger to society wrong? Although the League of Assassins are killers, they are noble in origin. Willing to do what must be none with no questions asked. How do you turn to for justice when all else fails? It has been questioned time and time again, if certain villains were stopped after numerous chances for redemption then less people would be hurt? In Batman's case, how much blood is on his hands for not going far enough with good cause? Even Superman is guilty of that...

Damian unlike others never really had a choice, he was born into that lifestyle so having him go down a more moral route is the best option, doing it with his father is just a big plus

WillyDaPig1223 getting ressurected isn't a big deal, dick had to die because of a bomb attached to his heart he was later revived, Damian died and his corpse was taken to apokolips, DARKSEIDS home, Tim technically died but was teleported at the last second. So ressurection isn't that impressive

Dick always knew that Damion Wayne would throw that stick whenever he got mad. Damion thought that their bond was so strong that dick would know he was angry and be about to throw the stick. ... And quite frankly, Dick should have known it was coming. Dick slipped up that time and didn't even fall properly, the way his training mandated. Dick failed himself. To be honest, Dick would have never made those two errors. Damion Wayne didn't kill Dick Grayson. The writers killed Dick Grayson

spartandm4n Yeah, the writers did and it was a pretty shitty way for someone like Dick to die, but Damian should've controlled his temper. They were in the midst of battle with the _whole Arkham Asylum_ and he threw a temper tantrum anyways. Even if he didn't mean to kill Dick, you don't throw a steel eskrima stick designed for beating up bad guys and breaking bones at someone without meaning them harm, even if only for that moment.

That conclusion is spot-on. Due to only reading about Damien Wayne's character through the Injustice Comic Books, I didn't have much respect for Damien. After seeing this, I realized that he is, in reality, an extremely damaged kid. Much like Bruce, in some ways.

What I think is that sanctimonious people/characters like Batman need to stop that their way is the only right path.

damian wayne is one of my favorites. he and grayson are the two that i really care for, and the animated films with damian wayne are my favorite by far.

Out of the Four Robins. Jason Todd, Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne, and Tim Drake. My list of Best to Worst would be Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Jason Todd, then Whiney Damian. Dick was the ideal one. Tim is pretty ideal too, the only problem is that he wants to be a little more in the action and doesn't have much patience. Jason was the same as Tim but a bit more impatient and underestimated Joker, which caused him to go in a *very* bad direction. And Damian was just raised 100% wrong until Batman got a hold of him. Though there are times when I agree with Damian's ideology that certain villains go to far and deserve to die (Joker literally kills around hundreds every time he breaks out.). He is much to childish.

Tim is the same except he is a little more rough around the edges. Jason underestimated people and because of this gets killed and resurrected as Red Hood, who is Batman's enemy until they talked it out. And Damian's a little entitled shit.

Damian is my favorite character now.

I love Damian in the comics, but am disappointed with how the animated movies have handled his character so far. Especially Batman vs Robin, which was based on the comic Born to Kill. Adapting Born to Kill properly would rank up there with Under the Red Hood IMO.

dude just because slade is a merc doesnt mean hes an all powerfull lord of combat. slade had millitary training and he is a super soldier but damian was trained by the best fighters on the planet (batman, nightwing, the league of shadow, red robin, red hood, the justice league, and the teen titans) slade was just trained by the millitary. seriously "overestimated" no hes just op. you deathstroke fanboys have to accept the fact that almost everybody can beat deathstroke now...his glory days are over. even deadshot can beat deathstroke and his specialty is just being a master of all guns.

I'm pretty late, but, after everything you highlighted at the end, the brain washing and all, and that he did take his father's doctrine to heart, did not mean to kill Nightwing, had tears in his eyes when he realized what he had done, your right. I think it's ok, Damien is trying, and imo, trying is enough.

He also joined the Teen Titans in Justice League vs. Teen Titans and in Teen Titans: The Judas Contract and Damian didn’t kill at all in those 2 movies/continuities except maybe Raz Al Ghul and because Justice League vs. Teen Titans is mainly about Raven and her father, for a brief moment Raz Al Ghul actually joined the fight while they were near the Lazarus Pit (I believe he was there, but he most definitely is dead) so, point and case: He stopped killing at that point and did this for Raven as he said: I would do anything to get you back, meaning he had to sacrifice his hope to rule the world with Raz together, even tho he had the chance to prevent that, he became very protective of Raven and later when he led the LoA, he actually developed feelings for her…

There’s also the fact that in the original continuity, Damian didn’t become Robin until after Bruce’s death, in which Dick dawns on the batsuit and takes Damian as his Robin instead of Tim Drake. If I had to be honest, I think it’s better for Damian to be Dick Grayson’s Robin instead of Bruce’s, because just like Dick was the best Robin for Bruce, the same can be said for Damian being the best Robin for Dick for the very same reasons. Dick and Bruce had polar opposite personalities, which helped Bruce think on a different level. Damian and Dick also have polar opposite personalities and helps him think on a different level. With Bruce, the only thing him and Damian think differently on is killing and it can become repetitive after a while, which is why I think so many people are so harsh toward Damian’s Robin. I actually consider him to be the third best Robin, because he works so well and perfectly with Dick Grayson’s Batman or Nightwing. Bruce already has Tim Drake as his Robin, who says Nightwing can’t have his own Robin and Damian is perfect.

If you look at the comic picture of zsasz killing Alfred you can see that some of his stitches are on his throat. That could mean that it was sewn up and another way to raise the dead other than the Lazarus pit was found that didn't heal injuries.

I really like damian wayne in the comics and the animated films also have very good friendship with Dick grayson(I can say better than batman) Just you have to admit what the Injustice comics and video games is to fuck up your mind and your soul together and make your favourite heroes for the garbage can
