He might be cute but his condition is life threatening, hydrocephalus is built up fluid on the brain causing the brain to swell, that’s why his head is so big, my puppy also has hydrocephalus and the vet said he only has a few months to live.

Yes . Agree. Home /Upstairs /Heaven there is no illness. I dream almost every week about many people who passed away They ALL look good, healthy and very peaceful. They told me its a very good quiet Place , but learning goes on ( I think the Spirit the Soul learning totally other things . Spiritual , we see it when we’re Upstairs’ 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Love never stops . I am learning , dad gives me answers. I am 62, what I learned at night in my whole life , its great , also peaceful, and so normal when my pa explains things . Also all my cats ❤️😺❤️😺❤️😺❤️😺❤️😺❤️😺❤️ its precious.

I had one just this size....he was named Henry... after my dad...full grown he fit in my dad’s shirt pocket....he did not have this condition but he had another from which he died within 1 month....and he came from a reputable breeder who didn’t even realize he was a teacup chihuahua.....they’re so fragile.....you love them so much ....and they love you so much.........the enormous heartbreak has no relevancy to the smallness of their precious body but more the size of their ❤️

Poor little scrap.... I hope he's managed to hold on, and if not, I hope you gave him the best life possible for his tiny self...

Rest in peace litle puppy and sorry for owners of the cute puppy that died so young

I have three Chihuahuas and not only can they be born with this they can have other problems too. Like their patella’s (kneecaps) for one. I adore my three but they are expensive (medical insurance) and now all in special diets. Thank you so much on trying to get this out to people.

No kidding. Sometimes even I wish I could just take my head off and leave it on the dresser for awhile before putting it on again, and it's nowhere near that size. Looking at that fuzzlet is making my eyes water a little.

Reminds me of a friend of mine. He had a twin in the womb but they didn't last long and whatever happened in there resulted in him getting fluid in his brain. He had to get surgery and got some tube inserted. Maybe someday they'll have something like this to help small dogs?

He got a shunt inserted. It helps drain the excess fluid from your brain out of your body. I have a shunt myself due to Hydro.

Something that sweet should live forever. 💔

I once had a very small chihuahua, not tiny, just small. Oh God how I loved her! She was my baby! One day I played with her on the bed and she jumped off when she heard someone in the kitchen call her name. She landed on the hard floor with a thud and broke her neck.. She lay there motionless, but unafraid. I took her to emergency and they took xrays and then injected steroids into her neck at the break. She had to wear a full body cast for 3 full weeks. At the end of 3 weeks her paws began to move. Slowly but surely she regained walking ability. She always looked like a little marionette puppet when she walked but I was so happy she survived. She lived to the ripe old age of 15. My little Soosha.

I used the word "awful" because the condition is relatively bad considering the amount of damage it causes to the dog's lifespan. Mary Freebed , remember how Royalty did the same. All pregnancy’s r a risk even in healthy humans. Sorry for this little fella But all chihuahuas r small and one of the oldest breeds. They r from the Toltec period S America. When the Spaniards invaded the people they brought measles and pox. It wiped out the natives. They adored these little ones but when they died the Chihuahuas took to the hills and dig out dens and lived among themselves to survive, who’s to say they didn’t interbreed then. All of this breed are considered water head babies. Birth defect or not

He had a short life, this happens with Hydrocephalus. He only grew to 10 ounces at 3 months approximately :( Very sad. Thanks for your comment

Poor little puppy. I'm glad there's people that know a lot about animals just by looking at them for real. I wouldn't know but loving an animal so much first thing I would've done is take it to a vet.
