This cancelling culture in China is really bad, especially if allegations are unsubstantiated. After ZZH's case, i never take anything at face value. Stars should also be cautious in relationships because people's motives aren't always pure.

What to expect more from the scheming Communist Party of China?

It's nuts how celebs have to live up to unfairly high standards. Commoners can divorce, abort, sleep around, and all sorts of stuff, they can even post about it publicly without repercussion, but celebs get lambasted when they do the same.

These scandals are ridiculous. You are suppose to stand by your artist unless everything is proven true or false. There are always two sides to each story. Don't judge unless you're walking in their life.

I wouldn't say Arthur Chen was "canceled". He just laid low for a while and pick right back up where he left off.

Arthur Chen is the victim in this.

In China,children born out of wedlock will not be documented. So sad, but true.

I am Italian living in the US. American starts, starlets & Co. do waaaaaay worse than this, and in Italy, not only we had a political party called “Il partito dell’amore” (the party of love) that had porn stars as members, but one of our ex Prime Ministers became worldwide famous for his Bunga Bunga Parties (sex, drugs, etc etc) and got re-elected! So yeah, I cannot help you in picking the one that shocked me the most on this list! 😂😂😂

Wow. The punishment is wild

The only scandal worth noticing is Coco Lee's revelation which makes fools of the audience cheated the whole process for contestants who are honestly trying to compete on the show. That's of public interest. The others are the star's private business (unless it goes to criminal prosecution).

They should cancel Chinese cancel culture. Anything that causes personal or professional harm, especially based on conjecture, blackmail and entrapment. As for their personal lives, they're personal. Enough said about this yawnfest.

Did the young lady at the first story know who he was and why was no finger pointed at her ? Let's say for arguments sake he drugged her then by all means throw the book at him and lock him up. However the young lady needs to take some of the blame. She willingly went with him and why if they slipped up with contraceptives did they not go and get the morning after pill. His entire career has gone up in smoke in what I feel was a scam.

I never saw a one month scan of baby that well formed. Up to much later, my own was just a blip ! So: fake. Probable set up. Listeniing to the mom's shrill voice does not impress me in favor of the young lady, who conveniently was spared unwanted motherhood and raising single handedly a child that her one night stand partner did not wish to have. She did not say she was raped in any manner, so she really was responsible for her own behavior. Some fans (or was she staff?) are really crazy, thinking they own their idol and are entitled to wreak their career because he/she is not in love with them.

Chinese culture and European culture are Not the same. Chinese actors & actresses are suppose to be role model for the young. Once you misbehave that is the end of your career. She wanted out but the man wouldn't let go, so he posted on social media that's how she stopped traveling to tournaments and there's been no news of her.
