Just FYI, I had to take the original version of this video down after it had only been up for about an hour. In that time, we had a correct guess on the toast artwork. Richard Achtzig guessed: Its the "Great wave of Kanagawa" on the toast, which is correct. Congrats, Richard!
If you could make a video just on how to use Cura with all the advanced settings, that would be extremely helpful. I think it would help a lot of people in their 3d printing abilities.
This is something that should work: 1. Take a baked sugar cookie and pour a thin layer of sugar over it. Granulated is probably best, but Confectioners may work too. 2. Laser engrave a pattern into the sugar. You want it just powerful enough to caramelize the sugar to a light brown color, which will hopefully adhere to the cookie. 3. Turn the cookie over and allow the sugar that wasn't melted to fall away (reuse). If the sugar layer is thin enough, and you don't burn the sugar, this would be a nice way of embossing cookies. 🤠

Sounds like a fun experiment - I'll see if I can try that!
Great Wave off Kanagawa
Tried frying a potato with a laser. It did not work well.
You need an expander on the laser.
the big wave

Dude! Get a waterjet!
Laser engrave an egg since it’s Easter.
Enclosure for ABS printing? Off gases from laser etching? No...stink from bananas and burnt cookies. As someone who thinks bananas are vile all on their own, I was already repulsed, but I can only imagine the horrors of the burned smell.
William Osman would like a word with you... Edit: I'm sure he doesn't, really, but he could have saved you some time with the taste testing. Laser-cut food is always gross.

How funny - we just discovered William Osman not long ago and love his stuff but hadn't seen any of the laser food stuff until you said that. I just watched one and it's good stuff. And here I was thinking I was being original.
Bacon!!!
