I have a funny non-existant plane story. I was looking at planes landing at Houston Hobby Airport. And one of the flights, A Southwest Airlines 737 MAX 8, was shown as a United Airlines DC-10.

the dc10 might have had the same registration as the 737 max 8

For Non-Existent Planes, the registrations are the same as older retired/dismantled aircraft so the pictures are put on mistakenly. For False destinations, many aircraft that aren’t scheduled won’t show up on the arrivals/departures board. Nice video, perfect music, very fitting. It left me decidedly scared!

Facts

I got a “non-existent” plane once, the icon showed a helicopter but when I clicked on it the image was a Southwest 737 with retro livery, there was no other information displayed.

The only mildly interesting spot I’ve done was a C130 Hercules from my countries’s Air Force and a bunch of German training fighter jets Edit: nevermind I just found two belugas, a eurofighter, two Hawk128s and a C17 GM in just some minutes lololol

ADS-B Exchange and a few other sites let you filter to exclusively government owned and other interesting aircraft. Been able to spot a VC-25 and an E-4B recently which was pretty neat

I've seen a Boeing 747 Dreamliner and an American Eagle operated by Pacific Southwest Airlines.

5:55 I’ve seen things like this. Normally it’s just aircraft from colleges. (UND is the most common for me.) I also could mean it’s military or sometimes even means a first test flight, like one time there was a Republic P-47 flying around my airport. Got some good video.

Those oblong loops are most likely Stratotankers, Stratofortresses, and other military craft. I've seen an anomaly almost every time I have a FlightRadar24 session. Whether it's latent info on a craft landing (10' @ 250 MPH while stationary), sudden and drastic location changes, or even a craft in descent to landing altitude (light green) just disappearing over a forest (usually in the vicinity of a military air base). We're not going to get FAA/Military grade readings here!

Yeah many typhoons have callsigns such as LOSSIE8, (lossie for one of their homebases RAF Lossiemouth) WOLF9, TYPH06 etc...

Well on the El Paso one you showed just keep in mind you have a couple of Army bases there and one is Army aviation, primarily helicopters.

Most of these are normal occurrences within a week for me

one day I was on Flightradar24 and I found a rare plane it was a TWA Boeing 707 where it was going to I’m not sure but the callsign was N747TW and that callsign had the photo of the formerly owned by TWA btw this was from almost a year ago

so for the on existent planes i think i might have got the n number wrong but i saw it on foreflight when me and my dad were flying around and i just clicked on some random airtraffic that i saw showing up on foreflight and i cant remember the n number now but i got home and i looked up the n number and it said it was a dc 10 and i thought dc10s were retired the n number was something like N111A but yeah thats my non existent plane story

i saw some military aircraft callsign GRIZZLY take off from the falkland islands

The non-existent plane thing is actually the last aircraft that had the same registration. Can explain the Boeing 707s and MD-88s..

3:39 I was once riding my bike with my dad and I stopped and went on flight radar (technically this) and a plane was blocked and guess what? I saw it with my own eyes and it was like a piper pa or a Cessna and it was landing at the airport a few miles away from my house and it was like a piper pa or a Cessna isn’t that weird? Also I’ve had a weird call sign on a different app called plane finder and the call sign was EPIC41
