It’s good to see videos of people using this and sharing success stories and not just horror stories. I’m only 23 and have had thinning hair at the crown for about 5 years now which has never really gotten any worse than when I first spotted it, so I worry that using the minoxidil will just mess things up worse for me. It’s a real dilemma, especially since I’d probably look dumb with a shaved head coz my skull is an odd shape. Seeing your success though might be the catalyst for me to give it a go, suppose the worse case scenario is that it does nothing and I go back to what I have now. Thanks so much for having the balls to make these videos, I hope it all keeps working out for you man 🙏

TheFredy no, needs to be applied daily. After a while you could take a day or two off, maybe even a week if you’ve been consistent for months, but it needs to be applied daily

My wife used it for years, it worked for her but it also turned her 60-70% hair white. At first it was very low amount of grey hair but lately (after 1-1.5 years) it grows at a exponential rate. Problem was my wife didn’t knew about grey hair side effect of this product nor the doctor stated anything who prescribed. Okay guys, after 2 months of minoxidil (I use kirkland since it's more available in my country), I can confirm that new baby hairs are regrowing on my bald forehead around the temple. It's not visible if I dont look at it closely but still 2 months and that's already good sign

Fantastic results, I hope mine are that good at 4 months! I just hit month 2 and the shedding phase has finally passed, my hair is slowly growing back baby hairs in the areas that shed the most but the back of my head is still the most noticeably thin area.

Granted, I use Selsun Blue once a month just to keep the dandruff at bay. No itching at all, no discoloration, and I had zero illnesses to report.

Doesn't happen to everyone, but it's a good sign if it does. You can always grow long hair back again, but if the hair falls out and you didn't take steps to help keep it, it's gonna be much harder to gain those back.

Looks great what a diff. I just started Rogain like 2 weeks ago . Also added the dermal stamp needling whatever its called says it helps the Minoxidil get into the scalp better and absorb better.. but thats only done once every 1 to 3 weeks depending how deep u go. But hopefully works cuz this is the last time im attempting to grow out mu hair. I usual just do a 1 on top .5 and 0 on side so short buzz which looks good but i like to change it up. Also ordered that DHT blocking shampoo.. 🤞 also heard we tend to shed the hair first 8 weeks on rogain so jusy a matter of time before it work’s inguess good video ty for updates! Encouraged me to keep goin with it!

Wow! Amazing result. I use another brand, but I use it with dermaroller. I started from a much worse situation, but it starts to improve after half a year.

Christos just be careful with finasteride... it definitely works since i have used it previously but results can take up to 6 - 12 mnths... the only worrying thing about finasteride is it has side effects of birth defects, impotence and all other male stuff... i would say dont use it longer than a year... but stick with rogaine.

Almost started taking finasteride but changed my mind when I considered the fact it could make me infertile and even though there's people who say it's fine and others who say to avoid it I'm just gonna play it safe. Would like to use rogaine but having to use it multiple times a day and keep it on for hours is kinda lame

Only 1 or 2 procent are getting side effects. Even if you do have them they go away when you stop using finasteride. Im on it myself. Minoxidil once a day is enough it ill stay up to 20uur hours in your scalp.

@José José Are you using dutasteride? Why would he use dutasteride if hes worried about side effects?

@José José Risk of side effects with both fin and dut are low. However, dutasteride has a stronger effect on DHT and therefore is typically used 2nd after someone has already tried fin. I doubt the side effects you are experiencing are from dut. Normal side effects are low sex drive, impotence, etc. As far as RU I'm aware of it but dont know much about the side effects. Typically itd be very unlikely you'd have systemic effects unless you were using way more than you're supposed to. You should check out the channel More Plates More Dates he talks about hairloss stuff a lot including RU.

@José José I dont know man I dont think so.. I probably wouldn't take both in general though just dont think its necessary. I would take fin by itself first and if it doesn't work take dut by itself.

That shampoo used to be well reviewed ; I believe the formula has changed and it doesn't work well anymore.. Look at the reviews, there's a big drop off in satisfaction in the last year.

Fine video. In your case, did you observe any scaling, flaking in the initial stages of minoxodil application (i.e., seeming to get worse before getting better)?

yeah, definitely. the scalp massager helped alleviate that immensely.

i used minoxidil and my hair didnt seem to recover from the chock loss . so basically started looking worst then before .

Try Shampoo de Placenta instead of that one, (dosen't smell bad) my recommendation.👍

just started today! is it safe to use it for a lifetime? because from what i know, whenever you stop minoxidil the benefits will go away.

I was using it for almost four months, just once a day with amazing results.Once my hair grew back I slacked in the frequency of using it and today I noticed the bald spots kind of forming again.Having said this, I think Rogaine is something that should be used forever.

@@chrisg966 yes. It's like a workout. If you stop once you get results, you'll revert back to out of shape

I used to apply minoxidil on my hair, works like magic, but after a while, hair started falling again, my right forehead is now a little wider permanently. My friend experienced the same thing, only worse, his hair made him look like he‘s suffering from a serious disease, i can see the skin on the top of his head. I hope it doesn’t happen to you.
