Hi Peter, I just watched your video on proof of funds. Recently I applied for a visitor visa for my spouse and children, but I just watched this video now and I discovered that I did not do a good explanation on the proof of funds. With this video now, It gives me a clearer picture of how I could have explained it better.

You are so good @ what you do. Thanks a lot. I am asking if one is using a sponsor and the total fund expeted of you is about 45,000CAD, are you still supposed to show the 100% of the fund in your account? Or you can just provide part in your account and the account statement of your sponsor will do the balancing.

The remaining funds can be in the account of your sponsor.

Hello Can one add the overall amount from the sponsor account and hers too in the funds available options? Or only fill the actual amount meant only for the first year of her study;in the funds available option.

The PoF can be your statement and that of your sponsor

You mentioned that in the study permit form you have to provide some details for room and board and funds available etc. I am applying with my husband how will I provide those details? Under room and board would I put the amount for 2 people and should the funds available include his as well? Thank you 🙏🏾

There are 4 main sections to upload and additional 2 optional which you will consider just the other documents 1. LOA 2. PASSPORT 3. ID 4. PROOF OF FUNDS .... and then the other documents

I applied last year but was denied and I deferred my admission to Fall 2024. I want to reply for now and I need your advice about the portal to use. Last year I used the old portal. I am using the new portal, and my challenge is that I want to maximize the capacity available to me to upload the docs. So I don't know if I can add other docs to specific areas where a doc is requested e.g. where my data page is requested and I am attaching police clearance in addition. Or where marriage cert is requested and I am attaching to MC other docs such family pictures etc

You can only include the requested documents for each upload. For marriage certificate part, you can include family pictures. But I won't suggest adding police report to passport data page .

Sometimes it's not just the closing balance, the account should be working if it's business account and if personal from 3rd party, you need to back them with documents and evidence

Sir thank you for what you are doing. You are helping many lives. However, I need your help. I had applied with a college in BC, after the introduction of PAL they could not provide it. So I asked for my refund but they are deducting 1239 CAD from my money. I asked why because I am not at fault they keep saying its their policy. I feel their policy must apply when I am at fault and withdrawing from the college. But in this case they can't give me the PAL. I want my full refund because they are at fault. Sir how can I be helped. Where can I report my case? Please help.
