Actually, the minivan that packed 244 horsepower was the Honda Odyssey sold from 2005-2010. The newest model, the 2020 one, packs 288 horsepower, and still has the 3.5 liter V6 engine.

My first car was a 2003 Honda Odyssey, and it made 240hp, and 0-60 in 7.5 seconds, the best part is that here in the US they are like $2000 for a decent one. I pulled on so many people in that van it was priceless 😂

I saw a number plate in uk called K3V when I was a kid it was fitted to a BMW I wish I knew where that plate was today. 3 digits is the rarest so that was a special plate and my name thats why I rememberd it for 28yrs or so.

The Renault Espace is an MPV, not a minivan. Minivans have sliding doors and MPVs have normal sedan doors.

Niko Kourouklis actually it's considered a cross over. It does have car like doors but it has a longer wheelbase that matches a minivan. So compare apples to oranges the space for cargo really decides if it should be a van or a large car. That being said half the vehicles on here were actually just station wagons with a box body tailgate on them anyway so the title to this video is really full of shit either way you slice it so at least the Espace was close. I only counted two actual true vans on the whole video and had to go Espace the wheelbase bonus points to at least confer it a little over half accurate.

I thought the Honda Odyssey Touring would've been on here, it has an i-VTEC 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 280 horsepower! Great video, keep up the good work as usual.

I've got a 2010 Mazda 5 sport, it certainly isn't a 0-60 in 7s van but it is really fun to drive for ~150 hp. These 5 vans would put it to shame and are pretty crazy.

By all accounts if you want one in the USA you'll find it difficult as there are fewer than 20 in the entire country.

My 2013 EcoBoost Flex tuned for 93. 3bar map sensor and colder NGK plugs, otherwise stock. Puts 320 to all wheels for HP and TQ.

I drive one for the past 5 years and that piece of sh*t only gives electrical problems. The only good thing is the 241hp engine, the rest can go to the junkyard

I always liked my 97 Ram B2500 full size van. Ripped the 3.9L out of it and dropped a 440 into it. :) was always fun going light to light against smaller cars. tho also use to have a Turbo Chrysler mini van that was also quick.

zach miller Funny thing,I actually ram extremely passionate about sports cars,automobile racing etc and plan to work as a designer in the automotive industry, but I realize driving recklessly on public roads is foolish, this view was accentuated by my father working in insurance and constantly hearing about the accidents he has to deal with.

My mom has a 2012 Honda Odyssey and it is an absolute barge. It’s pretty rough to drive(lol, I say that and I’m 12yrso, it was on private property so don’t worry). We had to have repairs done and we got a sienna rental and it was awesome. I love how the 3.5 feels. :)

My parents have an S-Max with the 2,5t engine (or T5 as Volvo called it, they made it). I learned to drive in it. Feels way smaller than it is, corners great, engine and transmission are fantastic. Suspension is a bit too stiff though, and fuel economy is pretty bad. Having it is a love-hate relationship: the reliability is absolutely horrible and makes you furious at times but once you find a decent road it's great fun and you start to forgive it. The day we sell it will be an emotional one...

You forgot to mention the Vauxhall Zafira VXR is known as Opel Zafira OPC elsewhere. I had a Zafira OPC (200bhp) of the 1st generation with a dull grey color. Seeing the surprised drivers behind with their Audis, BMWs or Mercedeses - priceless 😂😂

Fast doesn’t always mean fun tho... if the engine or gearbox feels lethargic or have dynamics of turning a 30 storey building, then well it’s no fun.

Not saying the Zafira VXR is a hot hatch or performance vehicle but it got the kit to be competent in the corners, not just a powerful Astra engine put in it. It's one of the few minivans i've seen on track.

i had a 1989 v6 EFI plymouth voyager with 190bhp in germany and it was nicely done up with the side steps and different bumpers it left quite a few European cars behind that i can tell you

At a traffic light what matters most is horsepower per pound of car or truck. I have a 4 cylinder 16V Geo Tracker that can beat most cars or trucks from a dead stop. I love it when a guy in a jacked up Ford F150 or some other large truck pulls up besides me and starts revving his engine. Before he can even step on the gas pedal my 4 banger is already way ahead. Of course, some trucks will eventually pass me by, but many just turn off to a side road in embarrassment.

Absolutely LOVE the Vauxhall/Opel Zafira VXR/OPC...

This is just a suggestion, but you should make a video about batshit crazy fast stock pickups.

2003 honda odyssey can give a kick with the vtec

The first gen Dodge Caravan with a turbo 4. While not super quick stock, with a little bit more boost and a bigger intercooler, I’ve seen one run 12s in the quarter. Plus you could get them with a 5 speed manual.

I suppose you could tick the correct boxes for performance goodies and massage race version parts into a factory minivan and get something close to special. But a 6 speed manual Cadillac CTS-V wagon gets my special vote :)

Levente Jávori - Well the badge on it says ‘Vauxhall’ (Plus the griffin logo).

I've recently bought a zafira vxr for 4k. It's been remaped to 267bhp by courtney sport and it's crazy fast. I've never owned a car quite like that. But the insurance is 580quid a year. And the tax IS 670QUID which is ridiculous but is definitely worth every penny.

You forgot to mention the Honda Odyssey. The Honda Odyssey is a minivan that contains a 3.5 liter V6 engine, packing 244 horsepower.

My friends decided to do a minivan drag race. My friend had a Toyota Sienna SE and I have a Volkswagen Routan with a 3.6L V6 from Dodge. Surprisingly I won the race. I was honestly amazed so I did a dyno and got 298 HP. It's higher then advertised that's for sure.

Dont forget the Toyota Previa S/C, or the standard Previa with a floor mounted 5spd and rwd ;'-D

What? It looks like a 2000s-era minivan dressed up in some tacky plastic factory 'performance parts'. You can see right through them and it looks like a minivan in drag. Ugly as hell, and its not a 'sleeper' like he calls it. If it was a 'sleeper' they would have made it look like a normal Vauxall minivan and added the performance parts under it. Right now its about 90% loud, obnoxious 'sporty' exterior mods and 10% actual performance mods. Stiffer springs? great, so now my minivan wont even be comfy. And the same engine that powers another one of their so-called 'sporty' cars? Great, except that car weighs about 1,000lbs (500kg) less!

What about the Chrysler Grand Voyager? Its a v6 -.-

My straight piped Dodge Caravan is a ricer Civic slayer! Even though it's only got 140hp out of the V-6 but if you removed both rear bench seats it would only weigh around 3300 pounds. It's lighter than all the minivans built today.

Honda Odyssey, 3.5 L v6 with vtec. Last time I checked the Toyota doesn't have vtec

Christopher May yes but vtec is more aggressive. Toyotas is only keeping the valves open longer Hondas does keeps them open longer and also opens them up more. You can totally hear the crossover in the Honda it's loud and feels healthy. I own a 04 odyssey with the J35A4 variable valve timed and electronic lift controlled. It beats ecoboost f150s and v6 mustangs all day

Can you do the wagon version please? A lot of performance wagon out there. Audi RS6 Avant, BMW M5 Touring, Caddy CTS-V Wagon, Nissan Stagea, Toyota Caldina, Mitsubishi Legnum, Subie Impreza WRX STi Wagon, etc

Chrysler t&c/dodge caravan with the 3.8l v6 (or the 3.6l pentastar). Lots of low end torque and quick acceleration (and an early visit to the gas station). :)

The zafira actually looks cool!

I was waiting for the Toyota sienna because my father has one and the work of making it looks, really payed off. EDIT: some older models of the sienna had v6 engines. That had about 250 hp.

Like to see a 2019 update?..
