Hello Sir and thanks for sharing knowledge. At 1:00 min the throws you made were great. The knives stick straight, parallel to the ground, best way I can describe it, but two blades rotate 180 and stick blade up with one sticking sideways. This happens to me often and I was wondering if that is something I should even think about. When I try to manipulate the knife in that way I am distracted from the technique and usually unsuccessful. Thanks. What knives are you using here?

Thank you! Good question! What you are talking about is referred to as bullet spin. It happens when the index finger slides off to one side of the spine as the knife is released. It is rather difficult to try and completely eliminate from no spin knife throwing. That said, I really don’t think much about it. I don’t try to add nor do I try to eliminate.

Your throw is very relaxed and fluid. The angle of the camera was cool. I haven't had the balls to set my phone up so close yet. Its very satisfying to watch the knives fly and stick solid into the target. Keep up the good work!!

@thomasmacdonough7763 The first two shorts I have up were filmed with my phone completely unprotected. haha I have since added a piece of quarter inch lexan to my inventory- Something to think about. Oh, and in the intervening weeks, I've still yet to hit that lexan. 😅😅

Is the knive-shape important for your way of throwing? I am still totally amazed of that throwing technique.. did not know of BIM before .. 😅

Thank you. No, the shape of the knife has no real importance in this style of throwing. I think it’s more important in how comfortable you are with the knife you are throwing. One of former graduates of BIM Style threw screwdrivers through much of his training. 🙏
