    This is awesome. What a great breakdown of fairly complex concepts. I’ve been struggling through chord melody concepts for 30 years. Not a single guitar teacher I ever had was able to break it down like this. This combined with your melody harmonization videos will give me a lot to work on.     I've always wondered whether people say my music is boring whenever they yawn while I play. They say "keep playing" though, so maybe they like it. Now I know why. I like basing my songs on C-F-G and playing around them. This just makes me want to study more music theory in the future. Thanks Lucas!

    Its because hes purposefully filling the melody with different chords to show the theory, but you could apply those concepts to only part of the music and get a simpler but still interesting song

    Level 2 is good enough for me. Level 3 is still enjoyable, but beyond that just extra noises.

    Remember that one line from the Dire Straits song Sultans of Swing? "Check out Guitar George he knows all the chords." Well, Lucas, you are not only what I like to call a Guitar George, but you ALSO have that music conservatory education-type classical mastery. So, yeah, 3,000 chords? I do not doubt it.
