As such, you know that no matter what is being played by another guitarist you can play it 100 times better. The rest of us normal guitarists just feel like crap… honestly, you are an absolute pleasure to watch and listen to - you are musical perfection! And now that I have lit my guitars on fire, I don’t feel so bad about myself when I watch you. 😉

I'd love to know if you ever got it down, singing and playing 'Smells Like Teen Spirit?' I have been working on that song on and off for the last year or so, (more off than on,) and I find that it is a little more on the challenging side because of the way that the vocal rhythm interacts with the strumming pattern.

  • 3 жыл бұрын

@@Slatersan42 well dude, I have managed to do it not much longer after my comment, Hahah. I kept practicing over and over this and more advanced guitar techniques and a little bit later, boom, it finally paid off. Don't never give up dude, it was quite simple and quick.

I love the work and effort put into the piece. Just amazed at how complex and inspiring the piece sounds. It would be great if you tried deciphering “Brásilia” by Sergio Sampaio and giving tabs. It’s hard for me to learn since I’ve only just started trying out fingerpicking. Thank you for this music nonetheless.

That’s what guitar kinda is, these skills are personalized developments, improvements of self. I love it and see guitar as a real expression of emotion. It’s not complicated, it’s expressing the full extent of someone’s emotions, the other stuff is just to make it sound nicer to other people.

All jazz standards are frameworks in which musicians can bring their own interpretation knowing that the other musicians are all working towards the same end. Music is a language. Jazz is a dialect of that language. You can say things in many ways but as long as they make the same point, you are on key.
