5 LEGO sets you should invest in today
Ғылым және технология
In this video I go over all of the LEGO sets that retired at the end of 2023 to see which ones have increased the most in value since they retired. Even though it's only been 6 months this could an indication of what sets will be the next Cloud City

I Normally only invest in Lego Star Wars. Maybe also a little bit of pirate Lego when they do come out.
I just come to listen Lego videos. Makes me calm I don’t even buy Legos often I just like to listen people talk about them. God bless you brother!

Glad you like it! I don't think many people find me calming haha. God bless
Just started watching, I hope the Mustang isn't in here.
The reason some of these sets don't make sense to you is because you're unable to look at things from another perspective. Birds and Hearts will always be popular because so many people are in relationships, the set is an expression of love and affection from one person to another. As for the World Map what do hundreds of thousands of people have on their bedroom walls? World maps. It inspires people to travel and to talk about various countries they wish to visit with family and friends. As for the Colloseum, it's a fammous landmark which millions of people around the world have visited. The fact that so few investors bought it meant it's price increased by a lot post retirement. Many thanks for not buying it :-) The friends set did well because that guy died.

I think most of these reasons I did mention in the video? I forgot about Matthew Perry passing though
Why invest in those sets today? You should have invested in those last year? Also the video would be better if you keep the set name in each section.

I think a mistake people make is that they are put off by sets that have already gone up in value and instead try and find the next big winner. The problem with that is that it's difficult to predict what sets will become valuable, and I think this becomes harder each year as more and more people get into LEGO investing and start stockpiling. Before you could just invest in a UCS set knowing it will rise in value, but that's unlikely to be a good strategy now because everyone has cottoned onto that. Star Wars as a whole has become a lot less profitable year on year. As this video says, it's better to go on evidence you already have that tells you this a set is desirable and performing well on the secondary market. I agree that buying a few copies of the Colosseum would be one of the best strategies right now. I'd be interested to see a video that shows how LEGO set profitability has changed over time.

I think he mis titled the video.
I honestly don't know how to form an informed opinion on the price increases. I know of a German KZread channel parting out a lot Speed Champions Aston Martins. Though I remember a discussion that these sets substantially increase in value. With that increase, parting out SC sets seems strange. The reasoning is that the monetary amount is just too low for most investors. That's where the Colosseum comes in IMO: It's a large set and suddenly the supply dried up. Plus your mates surely will laugh at you if you're investing in say...hundreds of Lego polybags. I've done no research other than watching a few random videos, I have to admit. The YT algorithm is good at supplying a stream of videos. Anyway. I concluded that a first issue of a set usually sees a limited production run (which makes sense as Lego retailers might not stock it on mass), but nobody knows the supply side, because Lego doesn't tell us. My personal opinion is to never venture into the parts business, but a Lego enthusiast might be better off stocking parts as well as sets for sale. Sorry if I come across incoherent.
How about this I’m not sure if I should build it or save it. The Fell Beast 40693 some advice would be nice

My advice is always build it if you like it. If not I think it will be a good investment. Anything that is LOTR seems to do well
