haw00005 True. Most Nursing schools don't teach students how to answer questions. Instead, they want us to figure it by ourselves or take time out of our busy schedule for some tutoring session that doesn't exceed and hour in some case 30 minutes depending on the amount of students requesting for tutoring on the day you signed up.

I wish I watched this before I got into the specialty classes 🥴, it's NEVER "what is a? Then answer b", it's "what do you do?"

firn strokes? isn't that tissue integrity issue? I don't want to do that to my patient. I chose keeping the pt covered because keeping them warm help the blood circulate better.

If I may you are giving a bath so a towel shouldn’t be used to warm them up because it would get cold like them also it would be in the way for trying to clean their body making it longer and exposing them more to the cold

How accurate is this because I am on my firts semester struggling woth all this critical thinking question select all that apply l, medications and being able to find the most important answer etc....

So I decided to take the NCLEX exam. I’ve never been to nursing school or worked at a hospital. I am an EMT but have different training. I applied your test methods and got a 68% roughly on the first try. So yes your methods work. how were you allowed to take it without going to school? I'm not saying it's impossible, but usually you need to have gone to school to get "permission to take it".

@@NRSNG the nursing test taking tips was an easy tell sign. .Glad you guys are doing this, I feel nursing school is too rediculous and become a bit of a broken system, so I come here for encouragement and knowledge and you guys (and gals) always deliver.

A lot of the questions in nursing school is just stupid petty... making answers making answer choices that are so close to each other and marking it wrong if you don't choose the answer they want. Even though my answer is arguable a better answer. Nursing tests are complete BS in my opinion... just petty stupid.

I love ur videos they are so helpful, but u really need to shape/get haircut so you can look more professional. As nurses we need to look professional

This might surprise you, but many of my female co-workers have even longer hair than me! Crazy, I know. One of the most amazing things about being a nurse is that I get to bring my personality with me to work . . . and not once has one of my critically ill patients ask when the last time I trimmed my beard was, how long my hair is, how much I weigh, how many tattoos I have . . . etc . . . and those things have zero impact on my ability to provide superior care to my patients. In fact, what my patients deserve is a nurse who knows their shit and focuses their efforts on gaining more knowledge and becoming ever better at their nursing skills. My patients will have a hard time finding a nurse who gives a damn more than I do . . . I also happen to have a beard. Isn't nursing a great profession. Glad you like the videos . . . don't let . my hair length drive you to judge or become distracted - focus on the knowledge you can gain.
