Marie Braquemond painted I think it was her sister Louise with book in hand and eyes cast to one side in thought. Her hands strongly shown in the shadow of the open book.

This is an incredibly brilliant and compelling perspective of Impressionism. Not to be missed!

Some impressionistic painters also used to say that their paintings were meant to be thought of as a scene you might see out of the corner of your eye or if you were squinting your eyes. Basically the impression of an image.

Thank you for this most informative presentation.

A vibrant impressionism moment was planted in the subconscious and treasured by the mind when the time necessary.

I am an art neophyte - Neanderthal actually - but I enjoy Impressionism and post Impressionism, it just catches my eye and seems to speak to me.

Love your channel and use your videos in my art history class regularly. This video has background music that my students said was distracting. (Them not me! =D) They asked me to comment and let you know.😁
