I got diagnosed with parathyroid cancer 2 days ago. Testing is in process. Results will tell them what kind it is and the kind of specialist I should see at Ohio State, James Cancer Hospital. Praying for you I don’t know the type yet but we found triad 4 in the thyroid , dark in appearance in 4 other areas behind my ear and base of scull back of the lower part of my head etc.. how are you now? I’m so nervous they are doing biopsy’s but said it’s serious they seem to know by the scans somehow which I don’t understand and already checked surgery, we have very bad waits right now by NYC .. I am 77! I had Papillary Carcinoma at 24! Very advanced. Spread to Parathyroid and Lymph Nodes! Stage 3+. Had Radicall surgery and removed All involved tissue/Organs. Had a couple of tests to double check surgical results and here I am today at 77! Praise God!!

I have lumps on both sides of my neck in the lymph nodes and diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Tests, ultrasounds, MRI, on and on and on thru the 17th Keeping my fingers crossed and saying many prayers this isn't cancer Had fine needle biopsy on a 2 cm hole in the top of my right lung cane back negative. Endocrinologist put ne on methamizole for my thyroid. Checking for graves disease. Feeling better with the meds but the lumps are still there. Dr said it could be where I'm so skinny😳

We went for multinodular goitre but FNAC was suspicious, and whilst operation Mom just had to go total thyroidectomy from the look of the thyroid. Doc said it was unethical of him , but the follicular cancer would have spread it to the rest anyways so he had to remove them all.

My Throat is congested and Horse, It Irritates People…Always Tired , Just all of a sudden. Mood changes,loss of A Lot of Weight… I can Have Ice Cream..My Dr. Is Mentioning High Levels of Calcium? I see her in August and she’ll refer Me to Specialist, I assume. I am listening! I had horrible migraine headaches from 16 years old to 24 years! At 24 I had Papillary Carcinoma of the Thyroid, parathyroid and lymphnodes! Once surgically removed, never had another migraine! Thank God! If you have Papillary, you stand a 80-90+ chance of total survival and a long life! Papillary is the most Common and Most treatable Cancer! I Am 77 and had it 52 years ago! I know!

Also stress in life combined with an underactive thyroid can cause thyroid cancer. Often it's not easy to distinguish between goiter and thyroid cancers. Enlarged thyroids are often the result of having an underactive thyroid.

As the yrs went by the small amt of Throyxin released. Ends entirely. Having reg blood work checked.and how you feel. .....

My prayers and healing thoughts are with you. It's hard not to be afraid. Im just going through the beginnings of "watching and waiting" stage. About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease and hyperparathyroidism. I was shocked to find that out during a routine checkup. I was feeling very tired and not myself. No wonder! I've been struggling with constant fluctuating symptoms. Weird symptoms like fevers and night sweats with no known cause or treatment. Ive seen three different specialists (nephrologist, endocrinologist and neurologist) and none of them had any answers for me. My PCP referred me to get a thyroid ultrasound. Just as I suspected, results found 8 nodules. Four on my thyroid and four on my parathyroid. I went back to the endocrinologist and he ignored the recommendations from the Diagnostic Sonologist. I need a specialized thyroid nuclear scan to show better views of the nodules. The doctor said wait a year for them to grow! That was last June 2023. I've noticed some changes and sensitivity in swallowing and spasms in my throat. Im tired of waiting. Should I be worried? Thanks for any advice. Linda

You should still get an ultrasound and determine if a biopsy is needed .

I am having the surgery 6/13 at jersey shore but I will let u know. My younger cousin had the surgery. She said that it takes time to eat and there is pain of course. She also had the iodine treatment too. It took her time to have the med adjusted after surgery She had her thyroid removed. She had two surgeries.

Hey , mom just had her total thyroidectomy for the same thing , multinodular goitre with hyperplastic follicular neoplasm, post op suffered hypocalcemia because her pth is damaged tho doctor didn't removed , she's getting ready for radio active iodine now. on a incidental finding i was diagnosed with a Thyroid nodule of less than 8.6mm TR5 did fnac it turned out to be Bethesda V suspicous for papillary tc my doctor is suggesting total thyroidectomy it would be really helpful if anyone knows about cryoablation is it helpful ?? i would rather preserve my thyroid than go for a thyroidectomy i have no symptoms form the nodule

I too have this problem. I am seeing a GP tomorrow as I have also recently developed indigestion. On the phone the doctor asked if I had a problem with swallowing food so I told him I did, and also mentioned my coughing. ( I have hypothyroidism which currently keeps fluctuating. )

I have almost all symptoms described including weight loss. Except pain. My doctor is saying it woukd be too dangerous to biopsy. He said if ineant to go to endocrinologist he can refer.

Thank you for the information. I'm hoping you can respond to me please 🙏🏻 I delayed the biopsy for years , like 7 and finally did it a few months back and was supposed to get the surgery but I was scared. Now it's started to hurt me so much it is or was :( 50% chance papillary and follicular and you can see and definitely feel the lump but it has begun to hurt so much I feel weird feelings in and all around on both sides and the front and back and it feels like I taste metal and it just hurts the past four days. I'm scared it got worse :( I have another ultrasound scheduled in three days. Is it really dangerous if it hurts me ? :(((

Fee For a bunch of test & if they find anything they notify you right on the spot ,that's how I found out I had a small nodule on my thyroid ,never suspected anything.They gave me a bunch of imaging pictures and written report ,There realy Good .....They also test for Heart issues ,Diabetes, Blood pressure,cholesterol, TSH testing,Thyroid test,Complete Lipid panel, Carotid Artery test,Atrial Fibrilation,Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm,osteoporosis,ect...Give them a call

For the longest time the doctor couldn’t diagnose me so my doctor finally referred me to an endocrinologist it’s a specialist of the thyroid. That’s when l was finally diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I had this huge lump in my throat so she gave me an ultrasound & found several nodules. I also had a biopsy & two weeks later I was told I didn’t have thyroid cancer. However, l had surgery to remove the nodules because it was such a discomfort to me and that’s when they did find cancer, it was in the surrounding tissue of the nodules. I had surgery thinking they were only going to remove the nodules but ended up having the nodules removed, cancer, & my thyroid gland removed. If you ever feel any throat pain you need to have your doctor refer you to endocrinologist as soon as possible.

I have nodules in my left side thyroid nodules size 4’11 cm and im scared for biopsy 😢 my symptoms is tiredness and allergy’s everyday specially in the morning 😢

I go today to bet my thyroid biopsies. I have 5 of the symptoms & recently my eyes have becoming blurry. The left eye more than the right does that matter if one starts out blurrier than the other

Manythanks to the informative video,and explanations. I have developed a lump on the R site of my neck,but not painful and the doctors are still doing the tests. The two that they have done by draining the fluid from the lump did not show anything. So iam going back to the hospital next month. What I would like to know is whether vomiting and the hiccups are connected to thyroid. The BA swallow scan has been made,and the results came back as clear and normal. But the vomiting continues when eating meals, and strong hiccups. I have lost too much weight because of this. Like from sizen38_34. Thanks again ❤❤

My TSH 0.05

I was diagnosed with thyroid cyst... peripheral nodules and loculations in my right thyroid lobe... measures 4.0 cm... left thyroid lobe glands 2. 3 cm.... my T3 & T4 are normal...is this a sign of cancer Doc ? I need your advice and impression Doc. Thank you and Godbless ❤️
