There is nothing "random" about that behaviour. Random means that of all possible outcomes, each is equally likely. That cannot possibly apply to the behaviour you described. Hopefully, you are not of the opinion that the concept of something being "random" is just too complex for you to possibly understand.

Another thing I'd add, is seeing something randomly online, or thinking about some kind of move, and then randomly trying it. I do ALL of these. Plus, use feet to turn lights on and off and hit the garage door opener. This is particularly helpful when carrying something like groceries and you don’t have a free hand. How about this one: while brushing teeth, hold leg in side kick position and make figure 8s with leg to build strength in the hips and glutes specific to kicking. Switch legs between upper and lower teeth.

All my years of training in different martial arts and the place that it comes in handy is - NOT dealing with muggers, NOT for having a calm mind, and NOT to stay healthy but - to use my foot to flush at public toilets. I'm talking super control. Even if the handle is high...no problem. But if I ever come across a cord, or chain to flush, as in some countries, then my years of martial arts practice were for nothing. 😔

Hey bro continue. I’ve been doing boxing for 1.5 years. It’s extremely rewarding you’ll see. Feels like I started yesterday. Many times in public transportation when the driver hits the brakes I fall into my stance instinctively, better than falling on my face I guess. Also, I’m able to walk while the bus/tram is moving more easily unlike how I used to move before I started training. Good luck, don’t quit.

Random shadow boxing: Yeah, I do this. Less so now than before I hit 30 though. Closing stuff with my feet: Still do this, usually when my hands are full (I can turn door knobs with my foot) Mirror: I don't do this. Punching stuff out the air: Did it a lot when I was young. Not as much now, except part of an exercise I do that involves it. Stairs: I only walk up stairs normally if I'm exhausted, or in public when I'm not in the mood to draw attention. Most of the time, I run up stairs, skipping one every step.

5/5 here... I have other martial arts ticks! How about sitting watching a movie, and start lightly punching your own face especially around the eyebrows, chin and nose. Or maybe knuckle conditioning on any surface, or when barefoot, striking the floor with the ball of feet, or lying on the couch and extending a side kick. Trance like fight visualization on the train with focus on defensive. I could go on forever.

When your family member/spouse or whoever is on the couch and you walk over to them just stop short of their face with a roundhouse and start spamming tae kwon do style quick kicks just inches from their face... Just me? 😅

If my dog is at the top of the stairs when I'm coming up, I'll put him in a thai clinch. He's a big Mastiff and pretty strong.

I do the shadow boxing, always doing weird shit up the stairs, and using my kicks for doors and drawers haha! I also slip and roll tree branches on my jog to work hahaha

oh and when walking cross a crowd of people is always my way to practice footwork on leisure. Also when making a 180° turn when walking I'd always do a boxing pivot turn on the inner circle. I find it a lot faster and smoother than doing the outer circle.

Instead of turning like a normal person, I pivot. I shadowbox in the bathroom mirror and even in the shower.
