People should really develop the necessary muscles before trying this stuff. Yoga isn’t about getting into the poses, it’s about flow and getting to know your body.

2 days in a row! i love this!! it' been a year since i have done yoga and i am so grateful to have found this!!! thank you!!!
Loved the explanation. Crystal clear and this is one of the best explanations to master advanced yoga poses. Many thanks to you. Much love to you
I tried the crow pose and was able to hold for 2 seconds. The lifting of hip higher to push knee into armpit was excellent tip. I feel so happy and proud.

This was really great! Thank you! If I could just add something real fast.. Something (essential for proper posture) that also contributes to the ease of an asana is proper gaze! For example, in bakasana (crow pose) if your gaze is at your feet, you will most likely fall. Instead, one’s gaze should be forward, about 3 feet or so. (As far as I know) every asana has a designated gaze point. While some focus points do contribute to the ease of a pose, most/ all allow practitioner to receive full benefits of pose by doing it properly and completely. The nine gaze points are: - a point in front of you, like the example of bakasana; - our navel, like in adho mukha svanasana (downward dog); - the tip of one’s nose, like in chaturanga dandasana; - one’s hands or finger tips, like in utthita parsvakonasana, gaze is towards your extended hand/finger tips... achieving your gaze here is actually pretty much the last step in performing this asana, and instead of creating ease, it allows you to receive the full benefits of the pose; - our feet or tips of toes, like in janusirsasana (head to knee pose); - gaze to the left or the right, depending on which way you are looking, usually in twists like in matsyendrasana; - upward or outward, like in virabhadrasana 2, one simply gazes beyond the hand, beyond the finger tips, into infinity; - our third eye center, used in many types of meditation This comment turned out to be wayyyy longer than I anticipated, I hope it was interesting, or at least informative!

thank you so much!! after years of trying a headstand it worked on the FIRST try doing it along with you :)
Good tip about starting Crow from atop a block. I have not been able to get my knees where they need to be very easily, this sounds like a good way to practice.
I am grateful for this beautiful demonstration, instruction and encouragement. Absolutely astounding. I am scared even to try these poses. I will try them.
Just went back to YOGA a year ago and I’m slowly working on flows again & getting deeper into the poses...these 5 poses are my GOALS as I strengthen-slowly but surely, hopefully! #50andLOVINGyogaAgain
I so appreciate this! Your instructions are clear and inspiring. Thank you. 💖
Props are a great help for many of the poses that are tough for individuals.
WOW!!! I'm sooooo excited to try these later, especially crow and dancer!!! Thank you‼😊

She is a great instructor. Safe and positive.
Fantastic video! Thank you, as a teacher I'm always looking for different ways to strengthen my own practice in order to understand different types of bodies and their capabilities.
Thank you, you are a super athlete and have done a wonderful job being clear and concise. Accordingly, it will be great to be clear on the real key to these poses - core strength. I the absence of core strength these poses are not hard, they are potentially dangerous.
Thank you for your tutorial on the headstand. It made it really easy for me to get into my first headstand
Thank you, great tutorial, these poses now seem possible even though I need a tonne of practise
This is a really good video for people who practise yoga and tried these poses before, but are not quite there yet. Thanks!

This is what I need as an aging beat up athlete triathlete wt lifter calestenic enthusiast..I never get a recovery day but here this is more like active recovery
2 yrs ago I was practicing and teaching yoga. At that point, I had been practicing for approx. 14 yrs. while doing two poses, I now see featured in this video also. I injured myself to the point where it took me over a year and a half to get back to normal. To anyone trying these poses at home, please be mindful and follow your instincts not your ego.
Thanks for the amazing tips, will definitely try them!
I just did a headstand was v happy untill i went too far cracked all my fingers and smashed into my movie collection breaking the whole unit 🤦♂️🤦♀️🤷♂️
