RE4VR was a dream to me on Quest 2. Currently I am playing Asgard 2 on Quest 3 and it is amazing! Great video mate. 😁👍

Good list Mac, I'm loving AW2 on my Q3. However, as of today i have fallen foul of a game breaking bug during the 'retreive the stone from the beasts stomach" quest, quite a few people have suffered this bug and no fix is available at the minute. Gutted :(( did you get past this part?

Thanks, Mac! Love the content. I have a Quest Pro(upgraded from a Quest 2), but I really want to get the PSVR 2 as well just to play some of their exclusives like RE4 remake. However, I'm somewhat disapointed by Sony's choice to not use pancake lenses and go with the fresnel instead. Do you think that this is not so bad on the PSVR 2 in your opinion compared to Quest 2? I found it very hard to go back once I got to experience the newer pancake standard. Cheers!

PSVR2 is an odd one, it has a tiny sweet spot due to the fresnel lenses but the eye tracking & foveated rendering work really well. Resident Evil 4 VR Mode is one of the best games I've ever played (not just VR) & GT7 is amazing if you're a petrol head (like me).

I'd say it's not so bad as the Quest 2 simply because the higher resolution counters it a bit. But I'd say they are similar to Quest 2. You always have some fuzziness outside the center field of view. Personally it doesn't bother me much. I don't notice unless I purposefully look for it. Especially in high resolution games it's just straight up not noticeable unless you analyze the edges looking. The pancake lenses will absolutely be better, but I don't think using a PSVR2 will be that bad given the other visual upgrades.

Just a pity Ass creed runs like poop on Quest 3 yet it ran a lot better on my old Q2. There looking into it going by the latest patch notes.

@@MacInVR yea I played the first 10 mins when I got my new Quest 3 last week. Even the Quest game optimizor can't fix it. Put it on hold till they patch it.

Is the quest 3 really worth it?

I got one for Xmas. Wasn’t really fussed for one as thought it’d be like a new iPhone. It’s a much better headset. I play a lot of pcvr and the pancake lenses make everything much better visually. I was blown away with it👍

It’s a stand alone I’m content with what we got would I want more yes I also see the limit . Psvr2 wired all the time is so limited no one will show it the love it deserves . This being a standalone is what making it so user friendly and it’s good I got mine not looking back
