Thank you so much ❤️✨I had a Blast watching this video!! (Recently I’ve been struggling a little with my midi bass lines , mainly cause I’ve never play bass in my life . My main instrument is guitar so starting to understand how bass Melodies work is a new challenge for me ). Everything was so clear & well explained, thank you so much LNA , I’ll keep practicing, have a nice day ❤🎉

This is a great tutorial thank you. My clip editor does not show a tab to select a scale e.g. pentatonic, Could that be because I am using Live9?

The best way to learn funky bass is to study funky bass players: James Jamerson, Louis Johnson, Bootsy Collins, Bernard Edwards, Larry Graham. Do a search for this video on You Tube: "Louis Johnson isolated bass track".

I assume you need Ableton 11 to get the Clip Scales (Minor Pentotonic etc) and all? I cannot find that on Live 10 :(

yess scale function is only in 11, but you can use scale MIDI effect as well as an alternative.
