I'm training for a marathon and the Reverse Nordics really helped me the best. I had shin splints in the first weeks but now they are almost completely gone. The worst was walking steep uphill, it felt like a saw ripping through my tibialis anterior tendon, now it's gone. Thank you!

to me the reverse nordics seemed to only work my quads? any tips on how to isolate the anterior tibialis better?

@@calebsava better footwear also. I noticed that with the wrong shoes it puts pressure on this tendom and at some point I can't bend over or walk uphill anymore. It may even be sufficent to not tie your shoes too tight, but on that case loose footwear can cause other problems as well

I guess I shouldn't be surprised I got a shin splint. I ran 5 times in 6 days, first day was the first time running in a long time and I fought for a mile at 11:45 seconds. By the last day I hit a mile in 9:13 seconds. I pushed too hard. I just wanted it too bad. Hopefully I can find a way to not lose that hard work while it recovers.

Is that ok to do? I don’t want to apply to much pressure. Also the school pt could said I should focus on core more than I have been.
