5 Effective Neck Exercises For Parkinson's Patients
NECK STRENGTHENING EXERCISE IN PARKINSON'S
Learn simple exercises you can perform when you have Parkinson's disease. In this descriptive video, Dr. Puru Dhawan teaches some exercises that can help you with Parkinson's. He discussed the previous video of hand exercises.
Neck strengthening exercises are -
1) Chin tuck: In this, you have to face straight ahead.
Lower your chin to your chest
Stop if the stretch is felt in the back of your neck.
Hold for 30 seconds. You can do this ten times per day.
2) Neck rotation: Rotate your neck clockwise ten times
Then rotate your neck anti-clockwise ten times
Close your eyes if possible.
3) Warm up your neck
Move your neck left side ten times
Then move your neck right side ten times
4): Move your neck right side, then diagonally upside
The same goes for the left side
You can do these exercises every day.
You can also stand near the wall for support because, while doing these exercises, you can feel dizzy.
